Great product that enhances tanning and acts as a cooling agent after sunbathing

Actually, the smell isn't that bad, a bit like toffee. I've seen some reviews that mention it smells like alcohol which I didn't find. The gel goes on very easily and dries almost instantly, not greasy or tacky. It seemed to boost the intensity of my tan. I used it at night for 2 weeks prior to going on holiday as advised. I did not use this while sunbathing as I use a once a day application and I was not sure how using this would affect the sun protection.

You know the meme, “Irish girl sunbathing, no not her, the other one”, where the very pale girl is lying on white sand and at first you don’t see her? That’s pretty much me. I am so pale I could blind a bat at a hundred paces. In direct sunlight, I kind of glow. I’m also not so much white as blue-tinged. I also do NOT tan. I burn spectacularly. Half an hour in moderate sunshine and I am a lobster who feels sorry for herself for the next week or two while the burn fades and leaves me just as white as before. If I’m lucky, I get a new tiny mole out of it. I moaned about this on occasion, but resigned myself to staying inside a lot (I despise the sticky feeling of sunscreen and I can get sunburn in the shade). However, my mother (and it’s always our mothers, isn’t it?) who has no problems getting a lovely golden tan simply by stepping outside on a sunny day, suggested I try this after she used it to help build, deepen, and lengthen the life of her sickeningly lovely tan. So I tried it. Mostly to stop her nagging me, it must be said. (Un)fortunately, she is right. It works really well. For the first time in my life, I have tan lines! When I first applied the gel, I was a little worried it contained a self-tanner, as the colour is quite orange, but it goes clear as you rub it in and there’s no colour residue at all — I wiped my hands on a paper towel to check, and there was no orangeness at all. The smell is fine, neither particularly nice nor remotely unpleasant. It feels a little tacky for few minutes after applying, but dries well. I have sensitive, easily-irritated skin but it doesn’t play it up at all, even if I apply this after I’ve shaved my legs. I don’t apply this every day, mostly because I forget to and the notion that I can go outside and not burn is still very new. However, even with my slightly sporadic applications, this product is doing a fantastic job. When I stand next to my mother, I still look rather pale, but I no longer look like a reject from a vampire movie. Go me!

Great size bottle and the pump is really helpful. Not much of a scent and I usually wait a couple of minutes after applying before dressing. I've only just started to use it as going away in a few weeks so have used on a sunbed. I don't know if it's really helping but after a few more times I might notice more of a change. The cost of the bottle is on the high side however for the quantity it's quite food value. I have ordered another one to take on holiday with me so perhaps with sunshine everyday it will be good to bring on the tan!! I've only given it a 3 star as just in the early stages.

Have to give it to this wunder stuff, it's great! I'm from Ireland, so sadly my genes have not endowed me with the ability to tan well. In times past my success with getting a tan on holiday was VERY hit and miss, with the dreaded 'red and then back to white' scenario happening more than once. No more though! This is the 2nd time I've used EcoTan while away and once again I've managed to tan very well using it. To be clear, this isn't really a tanning aid at all, all it really does is prepare your body for tanning by making sure your skin is well moisturised and nourished. And it does this really well. I apply it before putting on my sun screen, and then again after sun exposure (post shower). And that's it! Both times I have used it I have found: 1. It effectively stops me from burning. Typically I use factor 20 and although a little pink at first (as I said above, I'm Irish, a quick tan is never going to happen) the tan builds over a few days. Before using this found that I would get quite sore to the touch in patches and typically be a patchwork of red and white. 2. My tan gets gradually darker and more pronounced over the first 4-5 days of sun exposure. Typically, after 10-14 days of using this pre and post sun exposure I have a really deep even tan, which people have commented on! Definitely recommend this, just remember that it's not a magic potion. Rather it helps your skin recover and protect itself from the sun more effectively.

Comme je suis déjà bronzé, je vais appliquer se produit après exposition et Je reviens vers vous pour dire si ça fonctionne 👍 produit génial, 2eme commande. A mettre avant crème Indice 50 et après exposition au soleil, bronzage parfait 👍

Ottimo prodotto.. è un gel molto facile da applicare che non unge. Odore gradevole e piacevole da utilizzare. Inoltre dopo la prima applicazione ho già notato un leggero colorito sulla pelle. Lo ricompro appena necessario. Consegna in anticipo rispetto al previsto.
