Duronic 80cm pole is 32mm across and works with OTHER monitor arms as well as Duronic's own.
This product is very sturdy, with best performance when a block of wood is inserted in the clamp below the desk, as if the desk itself was much thicker - you can then tighten it and compress an off cut of wood - the clamp can really dig into it and this helps stability. I already had the centre monitor (old Iiyama from 2010) on a Duronic 80cm pole with DM453 arm - works well enough, but had trouble maintaining portrait positioning without additional support (it's an old and heavy monitor). I originally bought 2 x Arctic Z1 Pro stands/arms for the 2 x TVs in the picture (each about 13kgs) . These Arctic arms were really good, but the poles were too short. I emailed Arctic's customer service, to ask if their arms would work with the Duronic 80cm poles - no response ... I measured up and found all the Arctic poles were also 32mm, so decided to order 2 more Duronic 80cm poles for the TVs.... as you can see from the photo, everything is sturdy. The plastic cap does have to come off the Duronic poles when sliding alternative monitor arms into place, but that can be popped back on afterwards. Do not waste your money on Humanscale M10 and things like that - the Arctic Z1 Pro arm plus a VESA 100 to 200mm adapter plus the Duronic 80cm pole is a mongrel solution in 3 parts, but is good value and works really well...

Strong, sturdy and easy to attach. ✨GREAT✨
The desk clamp is very well designed - it comes apart to allow attachment to a desk that is fixed in place and close to a wall without having to pull it all forward to squeeze the large bracket into place. You will need a gap only the thickness of the metal so roughly 10mm. There are 3 separate fixed clamps with rectangle plates that push up from under the desk to spread the load to the top plate making it very strong and able to support the length of the 100 cm pole. I have a 27” monitor attached high up the pole at roughly 80cm, it is mounted on a adjustable arm and I very impressed by the stability this pole gives. The quality of the materials and the impressive design makes it great value for money. I trust it to hold my expensive monitor and to not damage my desk.

Good quality, strong build
Well built, strong, very good clamp. Can load it up with lots of heavy kit no problem. Need a strong solid table or desk to cope with the weight & high centre of gravity.

Very sturdy mount for monitor arms
Used the product to mount a monitor arm above my existing two monitors. Can support a regular monitor. The 1m length helped a lot by allowing the monitor arm to be positioned so the monitor is above the two other monitors. However, the VESA mounts that are suggested to get with this product meant that the viewing angles were terrible (the whole monitor was black as I had to look up to it). This meant I had to purchase a separate arm that could tilt down enough to fix the viewing angles. The arm that I bought didn't fit perfectly to the stand as the stand was too thin, but since it wasn't made by the same company, it wasn't a big issue. I managed to put the monitor arm onto the stand by using a piece of paper to thicken the stand and tighten the arm so it doesn't slip. After using it for about a week, it hasn't moved at all. Overall its a great foundation to attach anything to.

Excellent product, well built and sturdy
We specifically went for the 90cm pole because it had the three desk clamps on bottom and plenty of height for our monitors, although we now believe the 80cm pole would have also worked perfectly well. We also purchased two swing arms from the same manufacturer. We are using them to hold 2x 36" curved wide screen monitors in a vertical layout. They worked perfectly, very sturdy with no visible movement at all. We were obviously concerned that there is a lot of weight in those two monitors (although they are within the manufacturers stipulated weight limits for the pole, etc.) as one of the arms is slightly forward of the pole and we haven't forgotten our physics lessons at school, but we didn't need to worry. We plan to install motorised standing desks next year and this product will best support the technical requirements we require to make that work.

Solid pole
2nd time purchasing this monitor mount because my first one still going strong. I like the 3 large clamps holding it to the desk, others I have seen have only 1 or 2. Very solid and easy to fit. Lots of mounting options for monitors or laptops that fit this pole. Just slide it over the top and lock it in position. Best way to mount multiple monitors and/or laptop stands

Sturdy well made clamp and pole
I have purchased a few different monitor poles and have come to settle on this brand. The main issue with most of them is how it clamps to the desk, as most tend to only have one “screw”. This means that over time especially if you move the monitor it becomes loose and moves. Now onto this one, it has 3 different screw clamps, and a nice sturdy base so no flexing or moving. The pole its self is of good quality and exactly as you would expect. If you want peace of mind that your monitor isn’t moving then go for this pole and clamp for you.

Serious stand for multiple monitor set up
very sturdy and professional monitor stand. I bought it together with Duronic Gas-Powered dual Monitor Arm Stand DMG52 and together they are very good. I plan to buy another dual arm stand once my finance allows me to. The Stand itself is secured with three large clamps. The only small issue could be the angle bracket which is to prevent tipping and also securing the stand to the table top - its only fixed with tow screw bolts < 1cm long - without any securing with nuts. I would definitely recommend it to anyone needing multiple monitor setup.

Braccio ottimo per un monitor da 27 pollici, molto stabile e resistente. A distanza di tempo non mostra segni di cedimento o di allentamenti nelle viti e la scrivania non subisce graffi. Consigliato!

This monitor pole is absolutely solid and well painted. However, use caution when purchasing as returns are shipped to Great Britain--removed all stars for out of country return address. The return cost from the USA would be approximately $77.

My goal was to make a relatively cheap but adjustable custom sit/stand desk and it fits perfectly my need : - Sturdy pole that support my heavy 26" without problems - with Duronic DM35 Extra Spare Head for Desk Monitor Brackets (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01A71NZVC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), there is no leverage effect so it's perfectly stable - high height range - i'm tall and can use a stand desk mat so the top of the screen need to be able to go up to about 1m (40in) above the desk - easy to change the high of the screen from the ultra low position to the maximum height (takes a few seconds) - i do the change several times every day so it needs to be quick and simple enough
