Chosen for specific style of writing.
This set matched the child's school practice of number writing. No 4 can be a problem in many sets. I was happy to have found this one. Excellent item. Very quick delivery. 5*

great for dementia
Love these numbers - using with a magentic whiteboard to do simple math exercises with my father who has dementia, is extremely hard of hearing and has severely arthritic hands..... The colours and size of the numbers are just right...he can move them around the board to put the answer in, whereas writing the answer was simply not possible. A larger size would be even better :).

Weak magnets, prone to turning.
Very weak magnets, positioned at illogical locations: if they were at the top or their centres of gravity, fine; but having them on the side meant some of the numbers would droop and rotate to their natural rest positions. Looking at them, I could see far better positions that could've been picked. The fact that the magnets were so weak compounded the problem... they just needed to be a _little_ stronger.I'm tempted to retrofit them with a load of neodymium magnets from eBay, but it's not a good idea to mix tiny strong magnets with children.

Good for little ones.
My daughter loves these letters and numbers. There are enough of all the letters to make reasonable sentences, and are well made. Not much to say about them. I recommend to anyone with little ones.
