So I read a lot of reviews saying that the lock started to rust and become hard to use after a while. This is designed to be used outdoor in harsh environments therefore rust and other elements will hit the lock. You just have to take a few measures: Once you get the lock - At the back of the lock, there are 2 small screws. Unscrew them and spray the whole thing with plenty of WD40. Put the screws back in and tighten. This should help protect the lock. Fitting the lock was easy, I was replacing an existing bolt lock so I just simply screwed in. The lock comes with 6 anti tamper screws - I would recommend using 2 normal screws in each opposite corner first, trying the lock to make sure it fits. If yes, screw in the 2 anti tamper screws in the other opposite corners, unscrew the normal screws and replace with the anti tamper. This will help keep the lock aligned to the original setting. Once the anti tamper screws are in, there’s no unscrewing! Lock works great for me, easy and smooth opening, the numbers turn fine - they turn one way for me. Perfect bolt lock, bought two to use indoors and out. Indoor lock still looks good but unfortunately the outdoor one was prone to rusting. Still a solid lock though.

Having the day before bought a similar, but definitely inferior combination bolt. (Which I returned, after it locked into position, minutes after installing it.) This Sterling bolt is excellent, very good quality and very smooth when locking/unlocking.

Easy to install, good value for money, works as expected

Great product, works just as I hoped it would. I’m using it on an outside cupboard for my deliveries to be left there. My latest amazon delivery was left in there safe and sound after the driver had followed my instructions with the code etc. I also took in a parcel for a neighbour who is never home and so I put it in the cupboard and posted a letter through her door with the code.... she was able to collect her parcel when it suited her. So far, so good and I am very pleased with the simplicity of installation, use and sturdiensss of the lock.

The lock isn’t as big as I thought it would be. Just fitted but the bolt fits precisely so will see how it functions once gate moves and it’s weathered a bit.

Used it for a side gate and it is going fine as a lock. The handle has started to rust so I will try to stop that. It's ok for the price.

Robusto y de buena calidad, puedes poner el número que tú quieras muy fácilmente. Con un atornillador, una broca pequeña y un destornillador (todo destartalado y sin ser yo muy manitas) lo he instalado en 10min en una puerta de chapa. Las instrucciones vienen en inglés, pero es muy intuitivo. ES MUY IMPORTANTE PONERLO BIEN CENTRADO A LA PRIMERA porque los tornillos antirrobo son un gran invento, pero supone un problema si te toca quitarlos. No creo que sea barato, pero tampoco caro. Es un buen método para proteger objetos de valor, documentación...etc de una forma cómoda, ya que no tienes que andar con llaves. Seguramente compraré más.

Utilizzo diversi lucchetti e chiusure con combinazione, e devo dire che questa in particolare mi ha sorpreso. La costruzione sembra molto robusta, e si sente anche dal peso. Il meccanismo interno ha una buona scorrevolezza, e non ha le solite tolleranze meccaniche che permettono di scoprire il codice in pochi secondi: al contrario, sembra molto difficile. Le viti in dotazione sono "antifurto" in quanto si possono solo avvitare, con un normale cacciavite a taglio. Per toglierle vanno distrutte.

Ich habe diese riegel an meinen hundeboxen im auto, so dass man auch die Türen offen lassen kann und garantiert niemand die box öffnet. Die Probleme mit dem knacken kann ich leider nicht bestätigen. Ich habe ein Schloss verstellt und bekomm es nicht mehr geöffnet. Da die schlösser in Wahrheit von Burgwächter sind, habe ich die Hoffnung gehabt das diese das schloß öffnen können. Keine Chance. Auch das unten gepostete Video vom schloß knacken ist totaler unsinn. Die zahlen knacken bei null immer. Netter Versuch aber :) die person darf sich gerne an meinem schloß versuchen. Ich kann das schloß wirklich weiterempfehlen. Wenn das zu ist, bleibt es zu.
