Rit Dye Synthetic 7oz-Racing Red, Other, Multicoloured, 207 ml (Pack of 1)

This stuff is amazing. Saved my stained white jacket and turned it pink. If you can’t find a pit big enough add it to your bath and just keep topping it up with kettle water. Worked perfectly for me. Beware tho it’ll stain your bath and you’ll need to bleach the bar afterwards to get rid of the bath stains. 10/10 tho!

This dye worked very well in recolouring a cream acrylic gilet. I will certainly use it again on other items

The dye works decently, providing vibrant color at first, but it fades quicker than expected. The application process is straightforward, and it doesn’t stain skin too badly, which is a plus. However, the color didn’t last as long as advertised, especially after a few washes. It's a good option for temporary color but may need frequent touch-ups to maintain vibrancy.

Instructions, heat 3 gallons of water and add half bottle of dye, heat on stove. What? How? Problem 1 who has a big enough pan for 14 litres or even 7 litres for that matter. Ideal for dying polyester and nylon. Problem 2 erm.. no it doesn't, no effect, no change, nada, well apart from a dark brown wooden spoon as you have to stand and stir this for a MINIMUM of 30 minutes.. Bought for nylon sofa covers. Save your money, don't buy this utter rubbish, that's 8 quid and an hour and a half of my life I won't get back. Ever.

It works very well. I used it on polyester fabric, which was blue, so wasn't sure how the colour will turn out, but I am quite happy with the effect. The dye was easy enough to use.

Perfecto para prendas sintéticas.

El color ha quedado perfecto, es verdad que la tela era 100% polyester como ponía la etiqueta y he seguido los pasos tal y como indican en las instrucciones. Es rápido son 30 minutos, pero sin parar de remover, así que pilla alguien si ves que la tela es grande. Y el recipiente debe ser de acero inoxidable o plástico y en estos últimos que luego se pueda quitar el tinte, yo lo hice en un barreño del año de pera que tengo hice una prieba primero y se quitó bien el tinte y ya lo metí todo. Más recomendaciones...pues utilizar guantes y no utilizar la lavadora, no viene en las instrucciones. Yo en mi primer bote porque no me apetecía metí la tela en la lavadora y nada...no se tiñó y me costó lo mio limpiarla , ojo, sólo con el tinte para sintéticos¡¡¡¡¡¡¡, así que he repetido con las instrucciones como indican, que para eso son instrucciones y perfecto. Sombrilla de jardín nueva, de un color gris feo feo a un azul muy original. Estoy muy contenta, la verdad. Pero un consejo es que si son sintéticos o acrílicos al 100% seguir exactamente las instrucciones.Tiñen perfectamente. Un 10.

All I did was follow the manufacturer's instructions on the bottle (which parenthetically arrived fully intact and complete) and I am truly happy to report what was (for me at least) a best-case-scenario, PERFECT outcome with 'racing red'. Well done Rit® - please keep up the good work. I am very confident to highly recommend this dye to anyone who is capable of following simple, stepped instructions.

Deckt und hält wirklich hervorragend, einzig bei der Dosierung bzw. Einwirkzeit ist etwas Vorsicht geboten, sonst wird aus dem schönen Frost-Grau schon mal ein gar nicht so dezentes Tief-Nacht-Dunkel-Schwarz - also am besten vor dem Färben des gewünschten Teils immer erst an einem Muster ausprobieren !

Ho letto le recensioni per diversi colori, e seguito un tutorial online a riguardo, vedendo già come attaccava a seconda della fibra sintetica (poliammide, nylon, poliestere, viscosa, misto a fibre non sintetiche), sapevo già che con un capo 100% poliestere un blu chiaro non avrebbe attaccato su un peso di un pile pesante. Per rendere il colore più carico bisogna almeno prendere due confezioni, aumentare il tempo per colorare a caldo su pentola, almeno 45 minuti/un'ora e mettere meno acqua possibile. Mi dispiace leggere le recensioni negative, è facile da usare, ma i coloranti attaccano in maniera diversa a seconda della loro composizione. Per gli azzurri e i blu è meglio usare le polveri
