Singer 3232 Sewing Machine, White and Lavender

The sewing machine is great, however the driver put that he handed it to me and this wasn’t the case. The driver left it on my doorstep in its original box and anyone looking to seal could have taken it. I expect the delivery driver to hand over an expensive item in person.

This sewing machine is very easy to use and the speed is easy to control with the foot pedal. The only downside that I have found is that the sewing machine needles that I already have, which are not Singer needles, do not fit the machine, so I have had to buy a whole load more needles that are Singer ones. (I had about half a dozen of each and every size, for all types of fabric. So that was an extra expense, and it held up my project whilst I waited for them).

A good simple (as its model name) sewing machine. It comes complete with a few extras. I have just purchased a (Universal) set of lots of extra feet and a second cotton reel Spindle at a reasonable price. I have noticed many Reviews mention the machine appears to be locked. Check the instruction manual on p11. When the bobbin winder spindle is in "bobbin winding" position, the machine will not sew and the hand wheel will not turn. To start sewing, push the bobbin winder spindle to the left (sewing position). This may be the solution to the problem as mine is working perfectly. Excellent machine good value for money.

Fabulous machiene. As a beginner I had only used a really cheap bargin one that my mym bought from BHS years ago (that broke). This one is so easy to set up and use. Got loads of different stitches to choose from. The automatic needle threader is tricky at first but once youve done it a few times is an absolute time saver!! There is a video on youtube from singer about this model and shows you how to hook it up, use alp the functions and choose which functions/tools that are included for which projects. Worth a watch!

When I wanted to r eplace my old machine I thought I wanted an all singing all dancing but I found this simple machine excellent for all my sewing needs. I am sorry the cover is only a dust over and not a more substantial one. I looked to purchase just a cover but all I could find we 'bags' that make it too bulky to sit behind my laptop on my desk. I have a small house and space is of the essence.

I bought this to use as a spare but actually, I like it just as much as my main one, which cost a whole lot more. It is easy to use and light to carry. I wish it had come with a cover but I suppose I can make one of those. I would highly recommend this machine to someone who hasn't used one before or for someone who wants a spare when their main one is being serviced.

Perfect beginner machine! I've not done any sewing since school, so I'm a total beginner and it was easy to set up and get going. Clear instructions in the manual (did have a bit of a faff getting the bobbin going but with a little YouTube help, it was easy!) definitely recommend if you need a machine that's easy, but still good enough to move on to more challenging techniques in the future. I'm in love 😍

Very happy with this machine. The only slight drawback is the automatic needle threader as it took ages to get this to work and the instruction book is no help. In the end I had to manually hold the threading mechanism tight against the back of the needle to get the thread through the needle otherwise it just doesn't work. There is a tiny hook that must pass through the eye of the needle from the back in order to pick up the thread and pull it through the needle eye.

La Singer Simple è davvero facile da usare: impostazioni chiare, punti ben definiti e struttura solida. Mi è piaciuto molto il design pulito e gli accessori inclusi. Ideale per piccoli lavori di cucito, riparazioni e progetti creativi. Funziona silenziosamente e il passafilo è intuitivo. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo!

Fonctionne très bien, et grand nombre de points différents. Les boutonnières sont aussi très pratiques. Largement suffisant pour la plupart des gens, seuls les plus "pros" seront sans doute déçus car l'épaisseur et la vitesse pourront être limitants (2 épaisseurs de jeans, ça passe, 3 ou 4, cela devient vraiment difficile; quant à la vitesse, elle est largement suffisante pour tous ceux qui ne font pas de la couture un métier)
