So much more effective than cotton balls. Thickness is ideal for taking off eye make up.which is lint free softness is very good. Absorbency is very effective. Complete durability.

I bought these for removing my gel nail polish and they work very well. As you can see from the picture they open out to a square about 4 inches by 4 inches or you can use them folded or crumpled to make them thicker. I soak them in acetone, leave on each nail wrapped in foil for ten to fifteen minutes and my nail polish easily scrapes off. I would think they have other good uses too. Can be used as dressings and make up removal. I often have had little fibres from cotton wool in my eyes from pads so I will be trying these lint free pads in future!

I bought it to use when I do my nails as it was advertised as lint free and I thought it would be perfect. However, I tried to use them and clean the cuticle on which one I accidentally got some nail polish, and the lint from it fell on the nail and messed up my nail polish. I guess it will do when fully removing the nail polish, but no good for using it for a touch up.

Only ever use these ones, they are great.
