Awesome Light at a great price
I love this little light. I am a fan of Aputure products. I love the app and the ability to control the lights in one app. This was a big selling point for me. As far as quality You are getting a solid built light! It also comes with a small tripod earring case and a Grid to attach. The Grid was another big reason I bought this light. The carrying case that comes with it is great too. Aputure is a product and at the price you get a lot more for just a little extra money.

Holy Crap!
I have a few won lights and I wasn’t really sure what to expect because I have never heard of these guys. What I received is one of the finest pieces of lightning gear that I’ve ever held in my hands and I am absolutely astonished. I wish I had 10 of these. The build quality is nothing short of MRI medical grade precision awesomeness. Including an actual physical sliding on off switch which I absolutely love. I am so tired of those press-to-hold buttons.I said I have to be honest I haven’t even gone through everything this can do but I am still reeling by the astonishingly high quality of what I saw here that I wanted to get this review out and I will add some more details later. You get a full spectrum RBG light that’s about a foot long with amazing color accuracy and fidelity. And you get a lot more than just the standard range of 15 lighting affects that are usually underwhelming. This thing has a boatload of effects and also allows you to create custom ones and that’s what I haven’t really delved into a whole lot yet but I wanna come back to this review and add more details because this thing is amazing. It has magnets on the back and a standard tripod screw on the ends so you can extend them or put them on a light stand or just stick it to wherever you need to. The quality of this thing including the case and the packaging are extraordinary. When I got the box it had a tamper proof seal with a QR code and then there was an actual tamper proof lock on the zippers to make sure that the case had never been opened. I assume there’s a serial code a verification card in there as well this is an item that they have so much confidence and that they are worried about counterfeiting. And at this point I don’t blame them.I’m not usually a fan for wand lights for key lighting but occasionally they have their use and they are great for accent and fill lights. But this thing has so many useful functions that I’m going to start re-thinking my primary lighting set ups.In addition to coming with a very sturdy case and a high-quality USB-C charging cable it comes with a light modifier similar to a honeycomb. and you can tell that thing is very well-made as well. I’ve never heard of these guys but this is a company I’m gonna start looking at.If the review ends here check back in a few days and I’m going to add some material as far as some of the key features and functions of this light.

Lots of features, integrates well into the Sidus Link ecosystem
The media could not be loaded. As a user of multiple other Aputure and Amaran lights, it's nice having another product that drops right into the Sidus Link ecosystem and just works. The light comes in a nice, padded carry case and includes a mini-tripod, USB-A to USB-C charging cable and a fabric grid for light direction control. It has a quality, metal back build with magnets at both ends, so it sticks to metallic objects. They aren't the strongest magnets I've felt on this style of light, but do an adequate job of holding the light in place. The light can be controlled through the Sidus Link app, via the built-in scroll wheel/buttons/screen on the rear of the light, and DMX or LumenRadio. It doesn't offer very many mounting options, with a single 1/4-20 female thread on one end of the light (opposite the other end which has the on/off switch and USB-C port) and one more on the bottom, center (shown in one of my photos). One thing this light has that most others in this size class lack is addressable pixels, allowing for animations, such as a light chase (see my video). It's a bit short to make full use of the animation feature, but I suppose it's nice to have nonetheless.Overall, I'm pretty pleased and it's a great piece to drop into my current lighting workflow. I wish there was a wider array of mounting options and mounting points, as only two 1/4-20 holes is not sufficient and limits mounting options, and is especially befuddling when you consider their step-down Amaran line of tube lights offer 1/4-20, 3/8-16 with Arri-standard locating pins, and NATO rail compatibility.

Extremely awesome!
I am very happy with the versatility that this light has to offer! I have only recently begun some filmmaking projects and learning as much as I can about lighting. I can understand that nearly $200 might seem like a lot for such a small little light but it's really what's under the hood that counts on this little guy. If you have never used the Sidus app you are really missing out on the best lighting control app of all the other brands, making me wish I would have started with Aputure or Amaran lighting for my studio lights as well. But it's the pixel density of this light that makes it so cool, especially for shooting product videos or closups because you can get a whole rainbow of colors in a small space. I tried doing this with some cheaper little lights that look ok from a distance, but never show up right on video and all the colors tend to bleed into each other. Not only this, you can use this as a practical light in all sorts of ways. The magnets work really well if you have something metal to attach it too, otherwise some gaff tape will do the trick to get the light in the background, or just stand it on end and it looks pretty cool and easy to add a touch of color, or even some effects. It's REALLY useful if you think about all the possibilities of what you can do with it. I hope to add a few more of these to my kit as I go along because I am already finding all sorts of ways to use this little guy. I understand that the $200 is a lot, but even being the tight-wad that I am I feel like it would be worth it to pick up as many of these as you can as you build out your kit, cuz it's just THAT useful!

My Favorite Tube Light
IMHO one of Aputure's best lights before they Released the InfiniBar. Basically a scaled down version of that light, All the same effects and paired with the Sidus Link app this Light really shines, I like the fact that its slightly bigger than other one foot tubes. definitely highly recommend
