Lifestream Natural Calcium Powder, 100g

This supplement is the real deal. It's a natural source of calcium and has been extracted together with all the sea minerals that are so lacking in the diet and generally not included in synthetic calcium supplements. All those minerals are essential for the absorption of calcium. Add a good dose of vitamin D and a good quality vitamin k2 mk7 product and everything seems to suggest that would be safe and effective.

I have been taking this powder for acid reflux problems, together with digestive enzymes for around a week now and it definitely seem to be making a difference. I no longer suffer with a bloated stomach and my reflux problems seem to be calming down. I take 1 teaspoon daily, but split this over my three main meals and mix with a little water - taking after I have finished eating. The taste is a little chalky, but is not unpleasant. Will definitely buy again.

I can also report that the powder had leaked into the packing box so when I got it out I had some of the product on my hands and on my table and carpet. This is a waste! I have started to use this as a teeth whitening powder mixed with activated charcoal. I'm pleased with the results although very subtle, after a week. Find a small pot, put a teaspoon of activated charcoal and a teaspoon of this calcium powder into the pot. Gently shake the pot to mix ingredients. wet your finger with tap water and dip finger into pot then apply the powder to your teeth. It will look like something out of a horror movie and you'll have to wipe the sink down afterwards, but a couple of minutes with this stuff on your teeth actively draws staining agents from your teeth. After a couple of minutes, rinse with water 2-3 times to get the last of the mixture out of your mouth. Best to do this after brushing (with a coconut oil/bicarb soda mixture!). I think after a week of doing this once a day you should have nice white teeth without any of the expensive chemicals in whitening kits. Also get into the habit of drinking water straight after tea or coffee.

It was pointed out to me that (as I am allergic to dairy and can't tolerate red meat) that my diet was lacking in calcium. I introduced this and I've lost 15lb without changing anything else. Apparently low calcium levels can cause weight gain, which usually corrects when calcium levels are normalised. I'm on my second pot. Each one lasts about 30 days at full dose. The powder completely disappears in a smoothie or glass of juice. I drink mine with just water. It doesn't taste wonderful - as in it's not like a glass of your favourite squash. But it really doesn't taste bad either. It's reasonably tasteless - just a tiny bit chalky. Nothing unbearable though. I'm sure even a picky child would manage it in a glass of their favourite juice/milkshake/smoothie.

I take antidepressants and get terrible bone ache, until I started taking this calcium. I take a teaspoon a day mixed in my breakfast smoothie and I haven’t had any bone ache for months now so I know this is really good stuff and felt like I needed to review it. Because if it wasn’t for this I wouldn’t be able to take my antidepressants as the pain was very significant

Each time I have taken it I have been unwell. So it doesn’t suit me. Tasted okay mixed in yoghurt but won’t be using again

The amazing thing is my foot cramps from low calcium absorption (calcium carbonate) went away after two days of 1,000 mg each. My sleep has been more restful and other symptoms of low calcium have disappeared. I am seriously impressed. I am concerned that the natural magnesium is much too low but so far, the effect is fine. Prompt delivery too. (The container was smaller than expected and less than half full, but I will wait to see how many doses I get.)

I loved this product and used it for years. Now I see it is orange flavoured. As even a small amount of orange gives me indigestion I can't use it any more. Not great for adding to other cooking either unless you want everything orange flavoured.

Love all the bio available minerals. High quality.

It's difficult for me to take pills so I love this powder you can add on yogurt, smoothies, oats and it doesn't have any flavour. Also I like it's from a natural source.

Just received this and I am thrilled!! Finally a calcium that is not combined with acidic nutrients like Vit C. Not everyone can tolerate Vit C and citric acid. Going to reorder!!

Lifestream Natural Calcium Powder is the only one I can tolerate and I've tried many. I safer from chronic inflammation, erosion, of my gut due to mast cell activation disorder, which has caused sever osteoporosis. I wish I knew of this product years ago.
