Easy to instal
I normally swop between these and Rayovac. For some reason, after two weeks, the Rayovac hadn't even been despatched so I ordered these which arrived in 2 days. I like the little cases they come in as they can be transported in pockets, bags etc. without fear the batteries will fall out and maybe get into the hands of a child or the mouth of a pet. I like the long tail on the little paper tab as it makes the battery much easier to insert. I get about 4-5 days use from them, which I think is about average, although there is the odd dud or one that does not last quite as long. I only found out a few months ago that these batteries need to be left out of the package for about 5 minutes before inserting as that can prolong the battery life. That's the whole point of the term Activair. Here's the science bit - metal–air batteries are powered by oxidizing zinc with oxygen from the air. My audiologist didn't tell me and as I'd had free batteries with my aids for a long time, it didn't occur to me to check out the product description on the web site. I don't think that fact is mentioned on the product itself nor here, unless my eyes are worse than I thought. So now, when changing my batteries, I take the paper tab off for 5 minutes then put it back on to help me insert the battery. Job done.

They do the job
Not a lot one can say about batteries, except that they do the job they are meant to do. They last well as long as I remember to open the battery compartment when I put my hearing aid away in its box as it doesn't switch off otherwise. This is a very economical way to buy the batteries as this amount should last me for months, much cheaper than buying individual packs.

Hearing aid batteries
I chose the Duracell because they are well known to outlast any other brand …however they are only lasting 3/4 days / i have the hearing aids in about 14 hours a day The cheaper brand of battery that I usually buy last me 5/6 days …. I am disappointed in the Duracell performance so I guess I’ll go back to the cheaper type
