I've ordered this multiple times and will continue to order it. It's very, very sour and a little spicy. You have to like sour foods to enjoy this. I like it because it has the natural tamarind taste and not drowned in sugar.

The tamarind is packaged inside a sealable bag. Initially, I thought it would come inside a small jar but that is not the case. The initially photos were a bit misleading but it tastes good. It’s a little sticky and messy to eat but that’s not a big deal.

The super spicy flavor says it has 2 percent sodium. I’m suppose to be on a low sodium diet and I bought these. They come with huge salt grains that probably have over 10,000 mg of sodium for the whole package. This is horrible I got really bloated after eating a few.

Very spicy

I didn’t know quite how to rate these. They are not like the ones I love, and have bought at Thai grocery stores before - these are less sweet and much more sour. The first couple of minutes is a wonderful experience, a little sweet, a little salty, and a little chili flavor. Then, when down to the tamarind, extremely sour the rest of the ride. Too sour for me to fully enjoy, but this may be exactly how they should taste, and others are used to. Thus, a four star rather than three star review. The packaging is superb. The two small packets come in a Ziploc bag, and each packet with a good positive Ziploc to keep them fresh.

Good quality product nothing bad for you. All natural

I've tried a half dozen tamarind candies on Amazon. These are the best for me. First of all, it tastes like tamarind rather than an over-processed mess. Bracingly sour, a bit spicy and not too sweet. It also arrived very moist. I've bought it twice so far, in the last two months, and the quality has been consistently good

These are really good. Not too sweet, too sour, or too spicy. Very well balanced. Love the natural tamarind. Will buy again.
