perfect for grinding down bits of metal quickly and getting paint off steel for welding, one wheel lasts a long time if that's all you're doing

The product arrived on schedule time and well packed. I ordered this Flap discs for sanding a tree trunk, in order to make a wooden owl. I used one of the Flap discs for 30 minutes continuously and it seems that the discs surface was overheated and burned a bit. Obviously it was my mistake, as the Flap disk was sanding perfectly the wooden surface but i had to test the limits of my new Angle Grinder and new Flap discs. I used a 800 w Grinder for my project which is strong!! Just remember, the lower Grit means harder sanding. Don't use the Flap discs continuously for a long time because you will burn and destroy the surface. Give them a small break if you are going to use it for a long sanding. I will order it again 100% Silverline Angle Grinder 115mm 800W as it is a good value of money.

Great item and a great price

I bought these for gardening with. No, seriously. There was a tree growing where I didn't want a tree growing, and after cutting most of it down and trying some ineffective methods for killing the stump, I needed to take the stump back a bit to fresh wood before applying stump killer. Unfortunately, my saw was one of the things that was stolen during a garage break-in, so used what I had to hand - an angle grinder. Did the job beautifully. The disc I used appears to have quite a lot of life left in it. Not sure you can go too far wrong, really.

So easy to use and work well

So much cheaper than DIY and trade shops. They last ages and remove a ton of material. I always have them in my grinder box.

Presi per fare un lavoro impegnativo su travi di legno stagionato e piene di fori. Pensavo di usarli tutti x 36 travi da 6 metri invece ne sono bastati 4/5. Ottimi anche per rifinitura sottile. Molto soddisfatto!

dura menos que los otros que compre, se gastan mas rápido haciendo que sean necesarios mas discos para el mismo trabajo. Los he usado solo en metal, no se como iran en madera, pero para metal, se gastan enseguida.
