GoSystem QP8088H Quick Pro Auto Power Torch

My blowtorch arrived promptly at 8 days after ordering it, securely wrapped, and professionally boxed within. The leaflet enclosed is written in excellent English and offers good instruction on use. One caution I must mention is that when first installing the gas bottle by screwing it onto the torch body, be careful not to cross thread the aluminium body threads by the more durable threads on the steel gas bottle. I found them stiff for the first few connect / disconnections. Everything was soon fine, just like the brass threaded American made torches that I have used a lot. The igniter took 2 or 3 attempts to fire the flame up when I first used the torch, but now works first time every time! It is so convenient to turn on the gas to a preset level and ignite the device with just one press of a trigger. And you can release this just as quickly or lock down the mechanism. This is a very well made blowtorch, and brazes small jobs easily. For more difficult jobs Mapp gas is a little hotter than propane, about 37% dearer, but may make the proverbial difference. Soldering bigger plumbing fittings is always easy as this flows at a much lower temperature. Plumbers like this type of unit because of the speed of operation and the high heat output from the swirl flame. But bear in mind the height of the assembled unit: mine measured 533 millimetres or 21 inches total in height when ready for use. Yeah, I love this! Really!

Very good price ‘ for what appears to bea good soldering torch ‘ but haven’t soldered anything above 35mm yet & bit worried it may struggle with getting enough heat round 54 mm copper ‘ will update

I have started to rip out the 10mm piping for my central heating and replacing it with 15mm. I used this blow torch on solder ring Yorkshire fittings and it was simple to use and up to standard. Reasonably priced also.

It looked new when arrived but had problems from the start. The lighter fired intermittently. Initially had to try couple of times to light but it become worse progressively of the next few weeks so had to return it. It might have been faulty product. However built was strong and sturdy. There is button to control the gas flow and igniter lock ( rotating the red button lock or unlocks it) to make a child/minor safe. If it weren't for the intermittent problem i would have given it 5 stars.

Easy to use sturdy and reliable. Good flame and better than my old bernzomatic. Had it for a year now rusty button but other than that, glad I purchased it

Bought this product after having buying first one which lasted me over 3 years without a single fault and was really impressed with the blow torch, however this second one purchased I am really disappointed with, I’m not someone who usually writes a bad review about a product but the quality of this one I am really unhappy with as the sparker has broke after 3 months and it has barely been used. Only used literally once or twice a week to perform little soldering work nothing major. Additionally, not able to contact Amazon to raise the matter as they claim return window is no closed, really really disappointed

Works as should writing this review after a year or so after purchase. Used numerous times, safely stored and works every time. Cheaper than the highstreet shops by a big margin. Great for stuck bolts on cars

Per un lavoretto semplice ho iniziato a cercare un cannello che fosse un po più versatile dei soliti, con la possibilità di gestire il classico propano od il mapp gas nelle sue varie declinazioni. Le classiche case hanno ottimi prodotti a prezzi giustificati per il professionista ma non per il DIY. Cercando sono incappato in questo modello in offerta. Si aggancia direttamente sulla bombola, quelle a "bottiglia" ed ha tutto ciò che serve. Una nota importante è l'attacco, che è americano (GA 600 credo). Per le bombole a standard europeo serve un adattatore quale il Faithfull GZ170, che ho preso sempre su Amazon. A questo punto ci sono tutti gli attacchi. Attenzione a stringere bene l'adattatore per evitare pericolose fughe di gas. Il cannello si presenta robusto, tutto in metallo, manico compreso. Il puntale in ottone si svita e sarebbe sostituibile se si trovasse il ricambio, che però non è citato neanche sul sito del produttore. Ha la manopola di regolazione del gas e, cosa utilissima, l'accensione piezoelettrica. Ha il blocco di sicurezza sul pulsante rosso, ruotandolo, ed il flusso di gas fisso senza "uomo morto" tramite il pomello vicino al pulsante rosso. Avendolo provato con l'adattatore mi ha fatto un'ottima impressione. Non posso garantire sulla durata, dato che su altre recensioni in UK sembra un po' aleatoria. Per ora tutto bene, il prodotto è robusto e dà un'impressione di attrezzo professionale.

Soplete compacto, por ahora funciona bien, como otros nuevos y no tan nuevos de marca y sin. Tengo varios. Mientras que estén bien mantenidos - normalmente funcionan bien.

Buen producto, calidad precio bueno, cuerpo metálico, desempeña su función sin problema, no comparable a superfire en potencia de llama(este menor).
