fantastic phone, love the sync with desktop/tablet integration feature, love the fact it operates the exact same restrictions on the phone's screen time settings as those on the desktop /tablet meaning when the kids told to sleep they cant sneak the device into the bedroom and operate it, because its locked by the parent :) love the fact that safe search functions and app regulations put in place on the family safety site "just work" so no worrying about what the little tykes up to when not at home now to the phone itself, it operates quickly its camera functions to give a clean image and it has a flash which can be used as an on/off flashlight from the built in dropdown button (no need to find an app although there are several available that work well) my own preference with this phone is to use a tempered glass screen protector and it seems like it was designed to operate with one since the touch interface actually improved accuracy once I had it applied. of course windows isn't for everyone so whilst I love it for all its seamlessness others will hate it :P

I tend to do most of my computing on a desktop or laptop, so only needed a phone for mobile communication (sad isn't it.). This phone fits the bill perfectly, integrating my e-mail, calendar etc. across different platforms. The performance can be a bit lacking for streaming etc., but who wants to watch video on a 4.7inch screen? There have been various comments about lack of apps on the Microsoft Store, but quantity doesn't necessarily mean quality.(Check out the latest mobile malware statistics) I'm not a heavy user so the battery life is quite acceptable, pretty much on a par with my dumb phone from a couple of years back.

I like windows phones and Windows10 is a good system. Sure, it has its bugs, but it is getting constantly updated and gets better with every update. I bought this phone for my mother in law, who needed an easy essential phone to use for the usual apps. Unfortunately, this model was not as reliable as I'd hoped. The battery doesn't last long and is a little slow even with very simple apps. However, it is quite a good smartphone for the price and if windows improves the software it would be worthwhile having. Definitely is very cheap for a smartphone and works better than other android models at the same price.

This camera is nice, has Windows10, and generally lovely: IF it worked; I mean it keeps hanging and has a mind of its own. I think I just got a dud from a floored batch. Battery life not good either 1 day average. Its like me nearly good.

We bought two of these for my wife and myself. We wanted to get away from the Android OS as we both disliked it and were already very familiar with Windows 10 - it is on our PCs, laptop and tablets. This meant that the phones felt familiar from the start with lots of icons showing apps which we were already using on other platforms. Pruning these down to the essentials was easy and the great thing is that you don't get constantly badgered by Google with updates to all their apps - we are now Google-free! I should point out that we primarily use these for messaging and phone calls, we are not heavy data users. Customizing was relatively straightforward. We quickly changed the ringtones from the default settings to our own familar jingles. Changing the tone for incoming text messages (SMS) was less straightforward. The key to this is to send the phone several texts and then the messaging app becomes available in the Settings/Notifications menu. You then scroll down to find messaging, tap on it to open the options, then change the default tone to your own one with which you are already familiar. Adding new ringtones and notification tones (and for other apps) is very easy. Just plug your phone into your Win10 PC and it opens like another drive. Just drag over the mp3 files you want into ringtones on the phone and then change whatever you want. Battery charge seems good, about usual i.e. similar to the Samsung S3 Mini which we replaced with these. The massive improvement for us is that the phones are fully intercompatible with all our other kit. OK the Windows store doesn't have anything like the range of apps as for Android, but for our type of use there is more than enough. Finally, a very pleasant bonus is that all the awful Samsung emojis are a thing of the past (dreadful green frogs instead of smileys) and there are tons of them on the 550/Win10 mobile, everything you could possibly want.

I just love the Windows 10 operating system. I have access to all the applications on Windows 10 store (more than 700K applications) The battery of this cell phone last longer than any other Lumia I have had. The operating system gets updated often and gets better and better. I love the Microsoft Health application keeping track on my daily goals for steps and calories consumption despite I do not have the Microsoft Band, and I have free Health Dashboard on the following Web address [...] Applications have great performance on this cell phone. I can navigate the Internet faster with Microsoft Edge compared to Internet Explorer. The cell phone has great speakers. They provide a beautiful sound. The camera is not great but provide clear photos and the camera menu provides advanced functions. Outdoor photos are great. Battery stands for a whole day despite heavy usage. The "Movies & TV" application allows me to access all my videos on the cell phone in a beautiful way and plays all of them.

Fünf Sterne für schnelle u unkomplizierte Abwicklung! Aber das Telefon hat eine selten bescheuerte SIMkaten-Verstauung! Man bekommt die Karte schwer hinein und kaum wieder hinaus ohne Gefahr, die Karte zu zerstören! Nachschlag, 1 Woche später: Das Handy fährt nach Systemupdate nicht mehr hoch. Support kontaktiert, gleiches Ergebnis. Schade! Geht zurück. Einen Tag später: Das neue Handy ist da und funktioniert soweit. App-Updates sind sehr langsam, obwohl WLAN gut. Drei Sterne für den Verkäufer!

En resumen es un teléfono económico con un rendimiento generalmente bueno (sistema operativo) pero que se calienta demasiado y el ecosistema de aplicaciones de Windows Mobile es incompleto comprando con Android e iOS. A continuación puntos a favor y en contra. A favor: - Precio - sistema operativo salvo algún menú puntual - resolución pantalla para el precio En contra: - se calienta en exceso - falta de aplicaciones - algunas aplicaciones no están optimizadas y no funcionan fluidamente - diseño de las aplicaciones menos conseguido que en Android e iOS Si veo recuerdo cosas nuevas las voy añadiendo.

C'est mon téléphone Microsoft Lumia 550 redondant , qualité Nokia au rendez vous , ( solide malgré plusieurs chutes ). J'apprécie Windows 10 Phone et aussi et surtout la batterie amovible !!! Très content de ce téléphone !!!!
