Excellent protection for the Apple 4K remote. Has magnets built in and easily attaches to rear or side of tv. There’s also a lanyard. Nice feel of the material. Good product for the price.

Perfect, makes the remote easier to use and keeps it protected. I don’t use the magnets but they seem pretty strong. Dropped the remote many times, and it still works and looks like new out of the case, so definitely earnt it’s worth.

My Apple TV remote was screaming for a smart silicone sleek style cover. Now it’s got one thanks to this product. The clever thing about this remote cover is that it has 2 small magnets at the back which help it stick to the bezels of the tv, so that you don’t lose it around the house or cracks of the sofa. This item is nicely made, and it's very easy to fit onto the Apple TV remote. I've always thought the Apple TV remote was a bit small, and this adds a pleasant weight and welcome 'grippy' element to it. I took off the lanyard, which is OK for gaming but not really why I got this; that said, this case does make it much more gamer friendly. In our case, we got a smart TV for the kitchen but found the wifi to be poor, and ended-up getting the Apple TV so my wife could watch East Enders on iPlayer without the picture freezing and resulting blast of blue air. I hear Apple TV remotes don't like being dropped and with all the hard surfaces in the kitchen, this looked like a good idea. The magnetic feature of the remote is actually very useful in the kitchen as there are a number of surfaces to stick it to; unfortunately the plastic TV isn't one of them. The item is nicely packaged, and does what it's supposed to, but I've given it 4 stars and not 5 because I feel at the price I paid, £12, it's a bit more than it justifies. If it was under a tenner it would have easily been a 5 star item. That said, if one of us drops the remote onto the hard floor even once we've probably saved the £60+ for a new remote... which is kinda why I got it.

Apple's TV remote is typical Apple design - slim, visually attractive, and easy to lose! Just like a good iPhone case, this doesn't just protect the device - but makes it far more comfortable to handle. I found the Apple TV remote slippery to hold, kept accidentally touching the trackpad and couldn't tell which way round it was pointing, in the dark. This case makes the remote satisfyingly chunky, grippy and the lanyard clearly indicates which end's which. And the raised rubber bumper makes it a little easier to avoid knocking the touchpad. A simple and well-executed design. Total no-brainer. I don't know why Apple obsess over slim designs, when so many of us instantly reject that feature by buying a case!

Case can prevent use of touch pad unless carefully applied. Ensure the case does not put pressure on the remote.

After losing my apple remote and ordering a new one I was having issues of wondering when I was going to lose this one too so came across this product to not only protect the remote but it’s a very sturdy anti slip product, Also it’s easy to know which is the correct way of using it and the magnet is a bonus too

Me ha gustado el tono blanco de la proteccion,así como la cinta para colgar,con su ajustador a muñeca. Quizas vá un poco olgado al mando,pero no se llega a salir.Me lo compré para evitar que el mando desapareciera en el sofa.

Bei dem ganzen Zubehör-Wahnsinn, den Apple immer gerne mal für seine Produkte abfeiert, ist es schon erstaunlich, das es von Apple direkt keinen Schutz für die doch sehr glatt und leicht ausgefallene Fernbedienung für den Apple TV 4K anbietet. Damit die Fernbedienung im Alltag besser in der Hand liegt und nicht dauern den Abflug vom Stubentisch probt, habe ich gesucht und mit der elago R1 Silikon Hülle auch etwas gefunden, das sich nach nun einiger Zeit Nutzung als absolut alltagstauglich herausstellte. Für mich und vielleicht auch für den ein oder anderen Interessierten wichtig: Die zwei Magneten die die Hülle nebst Fernbedienung dann an passenden Untergründen einfach "anhaften" lassen, können mühelos entfernt werden. Auf dem Produktfoto ist ja bereits zu erkennen, das man von "innen" an den Magneten im oberen Bereich einfach rankommt. Der zweite Magnet ist im unteren Bereich des "Knochen" ebenso in einer kleinen Öffnung von innen zu erreichen. Wer nicht unbedingt auf die Magnetfunktion angewiesen ist, sollte diese auf jeden Fall entfernen, damit nicht eine achtlos und zufällig herumliegende Fernbedienung z.B. im Bereich von Kreditkarten, mobilen Festplatten u.ä. heftigsten Schaden anrichtet. Denn die Magneten können was, soll heißen sind ziemlich stark für ihre Größe. Von daher... ich habe darauf gesetzt, das man die Magneten entfernen kann und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Produktqualität ist sehr gut. Passgenau ohne übertrieben stramm (also keine Einschränkung beim Klick der Touchfläche) oder zu labrig zu sitzen. Mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis deshalb eine klare Empfehlung.
