Edu Science Die Cast Microscope Set & Carry Case

Advertised as suitable from eight year olds, but very difficult to see anything through the lens, kept the attention of my eight year old grandson for about 10 minutes. So disappointed as he has wanted a Microscope for a very long time.

My Grandson was so disappointed as there were no English instructions in the manual.We could not decipher the instructions so its a waste of time ordering it.

It is indeed metal. But the light is switched by pivoting the mirror and the eye piece wobbles about so focus doesn't stay put.

Disappointing quality, but not worth returning as postage far more than what I was charged for which suggests to me that the item is overpriced to allow for the shortfall.

As it is an Xmas present it looks to be of good quality (although still unopened at this time) and should give hours of fun looking at various objects under extremely close scrutiny. Good educational toy/instrument.

bought this for my grandson but his father and I could not get it to work, disappointed. looking for a replacement but will pay more and hopefully provide my grandson with a microscope that works and provides him with some interesting research - fun too

well made. well packaged. good present for a boy. made from strong materials which feel as if they will last for a long time
