Perfect to control those pesky summer insects
Excellent quality and super easy to install perfect to control those dastardly insects from gaining entry. These are made for doors, however I cut them down and used at the windows. Definitely value for money at least than £8 each. I no longer have flies and insects entertaining themselves in my home 🤣 having these have been game changer and I intend to purchase two more to control the pesty summer insects Great quality magnets I sewn to these insect mesh curtains means that they do not pry open when the wind blows. The supplied sticky tape sticks very well, you just got to clean the surface first of geese and grime. Once that is done they stick fast and is very sturdy.

Just what we needed and nicer than tassles!
Every summer we have a problem with flies coming in through the open back patio door, attracted by the cat's food mainly. They would then lay eggs on the food and cause problems with maggots in bins if we weren't careful. So we resorted to putting a cake cover over the cat food but that then turned us into cat butlers, having to remove the cover every time her ladyship wanted some food. I tried fly repellent devices but none of them worked. And the electrified tennis racquet is fun but only kills a few flies and more come to take their place. So I thought some kind of barrier at the door would be good, and in my head thought back to the rainbow-tassled screens of the 80s. Those all seemed quite flimsy and flappy, but then I spotted the magnet-closing door screens like this. They all seem quite similar (probably made in the same factory in China) but this one had the size that seemed right for me. According to the measurements, this should have been slightly too long, but in fact it's slightly too short. I'd say the measurements seem a centimetre or two smaller than advertised which is worth bearing in mind. Fitting was pretty easy, just attach the supplied velcro strips to the velcro lining around the edge, cutting it to size and leaving the backing tape on. Then put in place on your door frame - the tape is *very* sticky so be careful when applying and make sure you've got it all lined up just right. After putting it up I realised it wasn't fully closing as I'd got it a bit too tight. Again mainly due to it being a tad smaller than expected. A little annoying as it was too late to adjust the strips - however it only needed bringing in slightly so I just adjusted where the velcro attached a bit. So it's not 100% flush on the velcro now, but still seems very strongly in place. After the adjustment I couldn't believe how smooth the action of opening and closing was. Without fail it snaps itself back into place perfectly every time and only takes a small amount of pressure to get through. Whether my 19 year old cat will every get the hang of it I'm not sure, but she does have a cat flap to use if she wants. One thing to mention is that when the door is closed, the door handle does push against the screen. It stops the screen closing which isn't a problem, I just hope the pressure has no long-term adverse affect. As for the flies, this does a spot-on job of keeping them out. There is a tiny gap at the bottom now (due to the size difference mentioned) but it would be quite rare for them to find it. So we can now have the door open for the breeze and easy access, whilst still keeping the bugs away. It also acts as a bit of a shade to stop the sun blasting through quite so much. It also looks pretty neat, nowhere near as ugly as I imagined when initially conjuring up ideas of fly screens!

Good
Excellent, especially in summer time. The only down side is that there is nothing to grab to open from outside. A textile handle on both sides would solve the issue.

Very good value and does the job
I bought this to replace one that I had bought a few years ago and was falling to bits. I use it for my sun lounge which gets very hot on a sunny day when the door is closed. It’s fairly easy to mount. I was able to use the original Velcro that I had stuck around the door frame. It keeps all the flies, wasps and other bugs out but allows a nice breeze to keep the sun lounge cool.

Perfect 10/10 Fly Curtains
Absolutely brilliant fly curtains, first time in 3 years I can leave my door open, easy to fit and look great, can’t stop walking in and out to see them snap back shut again, if I could give more than 5 stars I would, very happy customer.

Perfect!
This fly screen is actually perfect for our kitchen. Its exactly what i needed to cover up/frame our kitchen door. It was very easy to put up, but beware the sticky tape you use around the door frame for the Velcro is VERY sticky. There is no adjusting it once you've got it on, so get it right, or you'll be repainting before you try again.

Well done product but ...
Good product which is sturdy and keeps flying insects outside. Unfortunately it's not sturdy enough if you have a constant traffic flow (child and dog) Than you can see the tear and wear quickly approaching. Magnets are working perfectly as expected. Recommended yes and it will last long but if you got kids or dogs who are constantly running in and out the house you will probably replace it after 2 summers.

Ho acquistato un modello 160x230 avendo un infisso esterno di queste dimensioni e avendo seguito le indicazioni del libretto di istruzioni. Purtroppo la tenda è larga 157cm per cui impossibile da montare
