Yo-kaiYokai Watch Season 1 Watch

I purchased this for my friends son who is totaly mad on these things, they were struggling to find one in the shops. Im not too familiar with the TV show but the packaging states that you can experience the world of Yo-kai Watch with the "Yo-kai Watch" and Medals. My firends so sat and told me that on the cartoon you can summon summon the Yo-kai "imaginary characters", and when he used the medals with watch it played different sounds, some music, and spoke a few phrases.All he had to was to put one of the medals which had a picture of a Yo-kai on it, into the watch, you then get to hear the character's name, a tribal song and a few more sounds, he thought this was awesome.This box contains:The Yo-kai WatchTwo Yo-kai MedalsInstruction BookletBatteries Included ( 3 x 1.5v A76 Alkaline)He told me that you can but and collect more medals each with it's own character. Really happy with this watch my son loves it. It feels well made for the money which felt like a bargain. This is to be used with the medals you can get either in blind bags or with the figues. You slot them in and it makes sounds from what the characters make in the tv series.

The speaker for the watch is way louder than I thought it’d be, unfortunately Jibanyan’s qr code sticker is slightly peeled, but that’s fair enough considering it’s 10 years old.

My 5 year old Yo-Kai fan is thrilled.It comes with two Yo-Kai medalliums. Whisper and Jibanyan. Whisper doesn't have a song so when you put it in it says "what's up my corporeal friend, I am Whisper". When you put Jibanyan in it plays his song for the type of Yo-Kai he is 'charming'. If you've seen the show, you know the little song that Jibanyan dances to. If you have other medalliums they play their song type. Then they say their name and some of them will say a line from the show. Jibanyan says "JIBANYAN! I'm kinda busy right meow."Make sure when you put the medal in that you line it up otherwise you'll hear 'ah ah ah' like Whisper is telling you that it's wrong.

Fits my son's rather large wrists well.This item arrived with 2 different discs, with more available separately.He plays with it from time to time but is less taken with it after attempting to play the YoKai Watch Nintendo Game, which he didn't find as engaging as we all expected.I will also warn the adults that this should be purchased with either ear-plugs or noise-cancelling headphones for the adults in the house. The same sound over and over again, (whilst thrilling to most children), tends to annoy even the most zen adult.

Great toy however if you don't out the disks in exactly perfectly the right way, they get stuck and you're going to. Struggle to get them out. So far I've had 3 kids jam them in and I've had to pry them out. Other than that, any yo kai fans will love it

My nephew absolutely loved this watch. As other reviewers have described it is very bulky but that doesn't put him off at all! They only thing to be careful off is to make sure you put the medals in the right way as otherwise they can get stuck! Great value for money and one happy boy.
