ColorStay Makeup Foundation for Oily Skin

I have used this foundation cream for years and it is fabulous covers the face so well and looks very natural

My fav foundation, cheaper on here than in boots/superdrug etc. Genuine item, have been re purchasing off here for years. It's the only foundation that stays all day on my oily combo skin and I work in retail where I have had soooo many customers asking what foundation I use. Happy to direct them here to this "holy grail" of mine. Applies well, wears well, I get full coverage with one layer! I won't be chaging any time soon ❤️

i usually use Clinique Even Better foundation which I like a lot, but I was looking for a cheaper alternative for day to day wear. Colorstay is a bit shearer than Even Better (so is great if you like build able coverage) and the staying power is not quite as good, however it gave a nice finish and at a third of the price it is an excellent budget foundation.

If you have oily, problematic skin, this is one of the best foundations you can buy that isn't high end. Does come slightly more pink toned than yellow toned (I bought the palest shade but think I needed the next one down), but for formula I can't fault it. Stays all day, provides oil control (my skin is super oily and normally I have to blot at least every couple of hours, with this I can wear it all day and probably blot once in that time). I have very sensitive skin and a lot of foundations break me out but this one hasn't, I love it! I'd say its somewhat comparable to Estee Lauder Double Wear in terms of finish and staying power, although I do prefer Double Wear a little bit more but for the price I can't recommend this enough.

I absolutely love this foundation. I have red hair and very pale skin and the ivory colour covers really well and matches my skin tone. I really do struggle to get a shade that doesn't make me look orange and this foundation is perfect. I also have really oily skin so the 'combination/oily' range is great. I must admit I do start to shine towards the end of the day in the summer months but this is by far the best foundation I have come across to meet everything I need. The bottle was a little annoying because I often poured too much out but they now have the pumps attached so I can't complain about that. The foundation normally lasts around 4 months and that's using it more or less every day. The foundation is a thick consistency so it really does go far.

I was pleasantly surprised at this foundation, I found it in my sisters old house clearing up and tried it on to find this was such a good coverage foundation. My skin is quite red so it is always hard for me to find a good foundation and this does exactly the job, it is so comfy on my face and I almost forget I have it on, it is one of those foundations u can build until u are satisfied. Even with 1 layer it is pretty impressive but since I have bad skin I normally put on 2 layers. It is so good for the money too! Enjoy

Got this because EL double wear made my rosacea worse. The colour (Sand Beige) is an excellent match for my light olive skin so top marks for that. I work in a hospital so need to look presentable for up to 12 hours as a time. Applied with a brush no problems over a mattifying moisturiser and finished off with powder and looked lovely. it stayed on pretty nicely for a few hours. I found I had to put on a couple of layers of it on problematic rosacea areas around my nose. Probably better to use a concealer, I guess one product cannot do all. I don't have time to touch up and blot during the day but it seemed to look okay by the end. The 24 hour claim may work for people who are not doing physical stuff all day long but for not for me after a few hours of working. It would be fine for general daily wear but something tougher is needed for what I get up to!
