I unwrapped the bed and let it expand for a week. Put it on my sofa bed and it’s a perfect fit. It folds into the bed just fine too. No funky smell after it aired out and expanded for a week. The edge appears to be 4”. I have company this week and one of them is sleeping on it. She said it’s firm and comfortable.

Purchased for a pull out sofa that we have had for many years which had its mattresses replaced twice. Since sofa bed mattresses are difficult to find I decided to try this type of mattress. It coul not be thicker than this size or it would not fold into sofa. This worked really well, was comfortable for my guests to sleep on. When it arrived it was in rolled up, wrapped and compressed thinner so when you unwrap it, let it sit for two to three days before using so it regains its shape and thickness.

Great product and price

Bought a goodwill couch for $30 but needed something to keep it from sagging. It’s softer than the beds that come with sofas, but still a little on the thin side. You can feel the rail near the bottom. Other than that, it’s a great mattress. Be careful opening as the mattress only has two layers of plastic. I sliced through a little, but it’s not too bad.

I got this as a replacement mattress for my sofa sleeper when having guests over for the holidays. They all told me how comfortable it was and how well they slept on it. When I opened the box, I left it out for 2 days and in the middle, it got all the way up to 4.5 inches thick and 4 inches at the foot. It folds into the couch with ease.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Ordered this mattress to replace the one that came with our sofa bed. It's not even wide enough. I thought it needed to expand since it came in a box but nope it didn't get any bigger or thicker. I threw it on top of the original mattress since it wasn't thick enough and it literally sank in the middle. I would return if it wasn't such a hassle.

I purchased this based on the good reviews, but after receiving it, this was not the move. It didn't expand as thick as advertised and was extremely uncomfortable. I would have returned it if I hadn’t already thrown away the mattress that was on the couch. I’m giving it 3 stars because I could see it being good for kids as a floor mattress, but it’s definitely not suitable for adults.
