These foam pads are pretty dang good. Durable and just the right amount of firmness. My only complaint is the cost,but compared to a lot of the other brands it is definitely worth it. I absolutely recommend these.

Foam was not dense enough to use in pelican case

Good but not enough to do the sides of my road case. I have to buy another to complete the sides. I used another piece of foam for the top.

The price tag makes the eyes bulge a bit, just . . .for foam?! When it is weighed against replacing a piece of equipment that this could have protected, well one can allow that to take some of the sting out of it. The dimensions on these pieces are almost exactly what I need them for, I'll only have to do the cut-outs for things to rest into. I have some optics that came with questionable sketchy cases/pouches, so I'm putting them into a hinged wooden case - with this for padding. It'll do the job just fine. Not too much to invest for the protection of a $600 IR/NV monocular, not at all. I hardly doubt it need to be THIS expensive however.

Some foam I have used is too stiff and some too soft, these have the perfect amount of "give". I use these to line the drawers in my tool chest and cutout sections for the tools. Cuts cleanly and easily and holds together well.

Looks and feels like Polyurethane not Polyethylene. Not sending back as I can use it somewhere. But not rigid foam for a protective case like I thought. Won't buy again.

Although the description is contradictory and calls it both polyethylene and polyurethane which are two different materials with very different properties, I took a chance and ordered it hoping it was polyethylene -- as that was mentioned more prominently than polyurethane. Unfortunately, this item is in fact polyurethane and NOT polyethylene. Removed two stars for misleading product description, kept 3 stars because it seemed like fine polyurethane.

El título dice polietileno pero en realidad es espuma de poliuretano, estuve a punto de hacer la devolución por ese problema, pero la espuma es de buena calidad y al final cumple la función para proteger paquetes, solo por eso no la devolví, pero deben de saber que no es el material que anuncian y solo por qué era buena espuma lo deje pasar, es por eso que solo le doy 3 estrellas por mentir en el título.
