Brilliant, works so well for 20 people
Bought this with a bit of trepidation about whether it would work with twenty people. I shouldn’t have worried because it was fantastic. We were roaring with laughter throughout, the clues are enough to make you suspicious of everyone but if you keep notes you can whittle it down to the likely few! So brilliant and so much fun that we’re doing it all over again for my mum’s birthday soon. Took us about 2.5 hours in total which was the perfect length and I had so many compliments on the game. Deffo recommend for large group parties.

Great nights entertainment
So much fun with this game, initially there was 20 to come to the party ,but two couldn't come evening of the party. It didn't cause any problems. Everyone got into it,dressing up,accents and being very secretive about it!!!! I would highly recommend it. I sent the invites out 4 weeks previous to party, three weeks in I sent the characters Two weeks in I sent the menu for all to choose from Week of party I sent the bio's This created a real sense of anticipation.... Was great ,would do and can do again.

50th Birthday at the Manor!
I bought this for my husbands 50th birthday weekend. 18 of us staying in a Manor House so it was very appropriate. All our guests made a big effort dressing up as their character.... which was excellent fun. In fairness probably the best bit. It did take a fair bit of organising and explaining to everyone how it was going to work out. We used the CD to listen to Scene 1 explanation but as we were all seated in the dining room we decided to just read out Scenes 2 and 3. With 18 people the questions took some time to get through. We were lucky to have everyone really getting into their character which was hilarious. Although the questions did take some time it did keep the whole party all chatting together rather than having little groups around the table. Overall a fun night.

great game but NOT for children
great game all you need here. however on some sights this is publicised as suitable for children ITS NOT! some minor language problems and themes which are definitely NOT suitable- love triangles, sexual references. It was a littel embarrassing for us with a group of 8-13 year olds and we had to amend the text for round 2.

Love this. Exceptional quality and brilliant game play
This was so much fun with a group of friends. The great thing about it is we can do it all again with different friends and have just as much fun. Unlike other games of this nature, the villain changes each game, even on the night if someone drops out... This game is perfect!

Overpriced and impossible to solve mystery due to the fact anyone could be the murderer.
I feel bad giving anything a one-star review but this game was not to an acceptable standard at all. The positive are the characters are funny... Anyone can be the murderer and you decided at the beginning of the game who it is by handing out cards, one with a cross on it. The changes to the game based on who is the murderer is so insignificant it makes it impossible to solve the mystery. Very disappointed, I expected a more varied game play from the price. Not much effort seems to have been put into the product. I would suggest going for another game where who the murderer is, is written into the game.

Absolutely brilliant for a virtual lockdown party
We had a super fab virtual murder mystery with this game! It made my 50th lockdown birthday event super special and full of laughter! The script is brilliant. The only thing we did and recommend is when you know how many guests you have and you have assigned your characters edit the question sheet for each round so characters explicitly ask another character in the game the question. You can assign them randomly or in any order but it organises it a bit better and makes it so much more fun. We used the online version but either product is the same! This saved and made my 50th!

Fun and games.
This was a great buy. We had fun playing the game and had so many people wanting to play we had to make characters for them. It would be nice if it was possible to buy supplementary characters but it was fun making up characters. We are looking forward to the next game and expect even more fun.

We hosted a New Year’s Eve party for 20 people and played this mystery. Everyone really got into it. ‘Em Fatale dressed very seductively and was the hit of the party. It was nice that the murderer was selected by blind draw, so it was completely random. We got the nicest comments from the seniors who attended, many in full costume. A number said it was the best New Year’s Eve they ever had. This game is definitely worth the money. Many of them want to play the same game next year. This company might need to expand the participants beyond 20. Great idea, great game and a fun night.

Amazing party. Great game. Loved that I could play as the host. Everyone showed up in character which makes a difference. We did the “mingle about” version with a large charcuterie “grazing table” and it worked very well. Theme was “death to her 20’s” 30th birthday party. I had never hosted a murder mystery party and it helped that one girl had done one before. It has well written instructions but also maybe try to find a friend to help. (I didn’t realize you’re supposed to start reading the confessions in order of your number at the end of the party and thankfully she caught me right away. Phew!)

We did this game last night with 16 ppl. What we learned: 1. The game says don't open your character sheet until the game starts. . But it would've been beneficial to review prior to help stay in character 2. Though it doesn't say to have a non playing host- I think it would run smoother if we did Over all it was fun and the murderer is randomly selected so you can reuse the game

We played this game for a halloween murder mystery party, costumes and all! Everyone loved the game, and it was fantastically funny. It was definitely a hit. However, for $40 I would expect the quality of the materials to be a little better. Most parts looks like they were printed on home inkjet paper.
