Draper YG26 Spare Anvil and Screw, Blue

Needed a replacement Anvil for my loppers, no brand name on them , so took a chance with this Draper part. It is a perfect fit due to the elongated hole the bolt goes through to tighten the anvil, also a 10mm bolt and washer are included, that were a perfect fit for my loppers. Not used yet, but seems to be good quality, but it will be put to the test soon as have fruit trees and a very overgrown Wisteria that needs some extensive pruning. FOLLOW UP TO ABOVE REVIEW Today had to prune an overgrown Wisteria, with some pretty thick branches, the loppers with the replacement Draper part sliced through them with ease, I did not realise how bad my loppers had become, so am totally happy with this part.

Perfect fit for my Eckman loppers where i lost my original anvil somewhere in a big conifer bush, The Draper anvil was a direct fir replacement, but as a safety measure, i used some thread lock on the bolt so i don't loose this one . Highly recommended and very pleased with the purchase, save me having to go out ant buy new loppers .

Looks robust, sensible design. Fits an old off-brand lopper with a curved piece the anvil is bolted to. Much tougher and better designed than the original anvil, which broke, and with this the lopper looks like its good for another 10 years. I figured it would fit by comparing the picture with the broken original anvil and thought it close enough to try. When you come to fit it there is enough adjustment in it to get a perfect fit to the blade. It does need a curved piece to hold it. But if you have that and the mounting hole in more or less the right place, it will probably fit.

Good replacement for the anvil broken on my wood cutters. The fixing bolt supplied with the new anvil was a different thread to the existing one so I used the old bolt with the new anvil.

Took a gamble that this would fit an old but fairly decent set of loppers that I bought years ago from Hypa Value ( I know, but they were still good). No brand name. They had been used so much that the old anvil had snapped and worn out. This one replaced the old and damaged one perfectly and has made them seem like new where they would have been junk. Have used them now a fair bit and am still happy. A bargain!

My loppers were struggling, but they always did a great job ... however, the copper anvil was worn and this quick, simple and easy replacement has put them back in proper order and they are once again lopping away in grand style!! This quality replacement sure makes a lot more sense than lashing out on new loppers which would most likely only be half as good anyway!! I'm well happy - and so is my pocket!! 😄

The loppers are several years old, and when the anvil broke I fully expected to have to throw them away. However, a quick trawl found these replacements at a very reasonable price. Fitting was easy enough - the fixing hole is oversize to allow some adjustment - and everything is fine. Packing is in strong polythene, and it comes with a replacement bolt & washer.

Just took the risk to see if it fits my Lydl Gardening lopper and arrived earlier than expected, it was a perfect fit it looks like copper but rock solid cast better than the original.
