Good for the TV box, reliable performance over the year or so.

Once received it, put the batteries in and realised that many buttons including most important like power, volume buttons, home button and some other don't work. Then i read instruction and managed to get the power button work. Unfortunately you can only train a power button and 4 colour buttons.So now i have a working power button as it should be working, then home, return and volume up and down for the sound bar.The mouse mode works great, that was one of the main reasons i needed this device. Also the little qwerty keyboard on the back is really useful.All in all I'M quite happy with this addition to our Samsung smart TV.

You have to manually keep the curser where you want it, and press the button with your thumb which moves the cursor off where you're trying to click on.Also there is no clear instruction o how to turn on backlights for the keyboard.And secondary key symbols are hard to access.I could not recommend this.

Ok bought this a few weeks ago, at first it worked great. Air mouse was ok and the programmable buttons at the bottom are a good addition for controlling tv/soundbar etc, Backlight is not the brightest but can be seen at night with ease, i bought rechargable batteries with this and they lasted 3 weeks from a full charge while using the backlight, so not too badThe problem with it is the membrane underr the buttons around the ok, Left/Right/Up/Down arrows, they are now feeling like they are a bit worn and you have to press them a few times before the remote will action the button press, TBH i cant see them lasting more than a few months before wearing out.For a few quid more there are better remotes available that may last longer. i have a Rii remote that has lasted over 18 months and still workingI have only given this a 2/5 due to the buttons becoming very clicky and non responsive

I was dubious about ordering this item due to number of negative reviews, but decided to take the chance.It is being used for an Android TV Box bought many years ago for which I have misplaced the remote. I initially tried it with rechargeable batteries but they lasted a matter of hours. I replaced them with ordinary batteries and it is still going strong 2 weeks later despite the batteries being taken from another remote (ie not new).If (like me), you've never used an air-mouse before, it does take a bit getting used to - waving the remote control around in order to move the mouse-pointer, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of that.Everything seems to work fine on it and I can recommend this item, provided you use ordinary non-rechargeable batteries in it. I suspect it needs the higher voltage as rechargeable batteries only give 1.25volt each compared to 1.50v each on standard batteries.

Just got to see

This remote was very quick and easy to set up. I really like the keyboard on the back, it makes for quick and effortless searching. The only trouble so far has been the sub-standard battery life, it has been eating through batteries unfortunately. Might have to leave it turned off if not in use.

This does not work with my Samsung smart TV as an 'air mouse' to quickly key in a search string. text for streaming, so I am disappointed with it. It does however work with a laptop Pc.
