These are hard to lock, wish I would have gone with something different, but I'm stuck with them, because they were installed by the contractor and didn't wanna pay extra to have them removed. And I would have to purchase new ones, because the window to return had passed.

Pro: Nice style, low profile mount. Con: Very tight tolerance. Can be tricky to position the catch/strike plate. The hook swings on a radius yet is cut square (photo). Square peg/round hole kinda thing. Makes it tricky to set catch plate height and distance so that the top and bottom of the hook both clear the strike plate opening. The lock worked much better when I drilled out the hook with a ½” bit (photo). Improved the tolerance and I had more leeway in setting the catch. IMHO the vendor should recast this piece.

The pocket door handles are very stylish and much nicer than many other types. The one drawback is that they are not easy to install.

I loved the look of this but my hubby had me get a regular, boring square lock as this would have been a pain in the ass to install.

This lock has a good quality. It would be better if there is an installation drawing come with it.

This pocket door hardware is even more beautiful in person. Though not yet installed it feels substantial to the touch and to has great eye appeal.

There should be a dimensioned template included to layout the cuts you have to make in the door. I've spent hours trying to not make a mistake.
