Nemat Fragrances - Amber Perfume Oil

Amber Oil by Nemat is not just a fragrance—it’s a feeling. I’m not exaggerating when I say this stuff makes you feel so good—confident, sensual, mysterious, like you know a secret the rest of the world doesn’t. And then it begins. The looks. The hesitant, almost embarrassed questions from strangers and coworkers alike: 👀 “What are you wearing?!” To which I always smile sweetly and reply: “Clothes.” 😉 This oil isn’t loud or artificial—it’s soft, musky, cozy, and addictively smooth. It mixes with your skin chemistry so well that people don’t just smell Amber, they smell you…but upgraded. Like you stepped out of a Moroccan daydream dipped in gold and sunshine. It’s long-lasting, all-natural, and somehow both comforting and sexy at the same time. Honestly, if self-love had a scent, this would be it. Bottom line: If Egyptian Musk is my showstopper, Amber Oil is my soul-soother. Buy it. Wear it. Make everyone around you lose their minds just a little. And when they ask… you know what to say. 😏

There is absolutely no scent at all. However, I placed the bottle in a dark place and sure enough the smell is now present. I originally gave it one star but now it’s a 5 star because it does smell good! I wish this company would give some instructions and also mix it with D&G light blue, it smells divine.

I am not a perfume person. I like the scent of clean skin and freshly-washed clothes in subtle, naturally-scented laundry soaps. That being said, I sampled this Amber perfume in a health food store and was immediately transported in my mind back to a Colorado spa report I once went to as a teenager, a gift from a well-off aunt. This scent is so light, fresh and just hinting at exotic that it explores what perfume should be: enhancing but not overpowering the scent of your own, clean skin. The initial scent lasts for about two and a half hours and then hovers in the background for several more. It lasts for days when used as a room perfume on absorbable surfaces (e.g. on fabric or the edges of wood) and has never caused a reaction on my skin. I have purchased perfume this seven times and use it on my skin, on the corners of my house rugs, the undersides book shelves, on handkerchiefs in my purses, under closet shelves, and under my office desk. The empty bottles I put in blanket storage bags, or behind org baskets in the linen closet. My family and coworkers all notice how “fresh” and “nice” the rooms smell where I’ve used this scent, so it’s not just me and my nose talking here. Highly recommended (if you couldn’t tell already), the bottles arrive swiftly, they’ve never leaked and little goes a long way.

Very disappointed in how much the quality of this product has declined over the 4 years I have used it. When I first started using this product I purchased it from whole foods. The fragrance would last me all day..sometimes even until the next day. I got compliments from men and women on how wonderful it smells. I had to start purchasing it from amazon once I moved from California. I was already very incredulous of ordering from amazon because I read a lot of negative reviews. The majority of the negative reviews were complaints about how watered down the product is. I caved in and ordered it because I couldn't find it anywhere. I ordered 2 bottles and a rollerball. Thankfully the bottle fragrances 100% delivered in the longevity of the fragrance. Unfortunately, not the case with the rollerball. None of the product would even come out and when it did it was so minimal you couldn't smell the beautiful fragrance. So, once I ran out of my two bottles I ordered again. This is when I noticed a huge difference. Not only was the packaging not the same but the oil was definitely watered down. The price of this product had gone up and the quality went down. I still used the fragrance but I went through it much faster because it no longer lasts all day. I also noticed because its not as fragrant the compliments aren't as often as before. I decided I would order it one more time..before I Eben finished the last bottle. I was really just hoping maybe I would get some of the good batch or something. I ordered, once again a completely different bottle and an even worse product. This last bottle had hardly any smell at all. The price of this product has increased so much but the quality has taken such a dive. If the product was consistent...I mean packaging and quality of oil in would gladly pay more. The fact that I never know what I'll be getting and the product just doesn't live up to what it was years ago, I will not be buying this product from amazon anymore. I can only hope I'm lucky enough to find it in stock somewhere.

Ugh the smell is so good. I’m very picky and it takes a lot to impress me when it comes to scent. This smell is gorgeous. It’s complex, sexy and mysterious. It’s not cheap or strong, it’s not overbearing, it’s not synthetic smelling or like chemicals. It’s so mellow and gorgeous. You don’t need much. The bottle is very tiny, but the amount you need and how beautiful the scent is, is well worth the size for the money. I’ve spent A LOT on perfumes and none of them come close to this tiny bottle for relatively inexpensive. It’s 8 hours later and I’m still catching whiffs of it. Edit: I’ve gone through my entire first bottle and repurchased a new one I love it so much. I’ve gotten so many compliments and people asking me what I’m wearing. The only downside is, if you use it everyday it only lasts about a month so it is as pricey as the expensive perfumes in terms of what you’re going to pay over time.
