Great colour works on grey

I have been colouring my hair blue for almost 3 years. It was initially bleached but I did't like how dry my ends got so stopped bleaching and decided to keep topping up blue every few months to my lightened hair and dye black my brown/grey roots. I wasn't able to buy my usual blue dye since Covid outbreak, my hair turned into mix of grey/brown,green, washed out blue so I was desperate for strong colourant. Decided to try Manic Panic Amplified as temporary solution until I can buy my usual dye. It was very easy to apply to my hair, didn't stain my skin badly like other products do, very little smell at all so I was able to have it on my head for 5 hours to set it really well. Rinsed off easily and didn't stain my bathtub. I have applied conditioner and let my hair dry naturally. My hair was left soft and shiny, very impressed. My dark roots are now midnight colour as this dye given it beautiful black/blue shade, my faded blue/green ends are now dark turquoise so exactly what I wanted. Nice and even coverage. Slept on white pillowcase, colour didn't transfer at all, not even on my white t-shirt. 4 days late first wash, expected loads of die to bleed but there was hardly any blue water in my tub. I always use cold water and Colour Protect Low Shampoo + conditioner to keep the colour vibrant for many weeks. This bottle was just enough to saturate well my thin, shoulder blades length hair. For thick hair I would definitely recommend using 2 bottles just to be on a safe side. Will definitely buy again.

This product came on the date it was suppose to and dispatched quickly! I love the amplified version as the normal manic panic hair dyes never usually stick to my hair but this has actually stayed in for a lot longer than I expected it to and there was a lot in the tub so I had enough to do my whole bust length hair twice. I love the colour too as it was very vibrant and I would definitely recommend this product.

was good i only wish manic panic bottles were bigger like all this money for a dinky bottle to cover my whole head like what the helly, a bit unrealistic mate...

Pretty much the greatest blue dye in the world, and does exactly what it says on the pot - extremely bright and vivid blue that got a load of awesome comments! The key to maintaining it slightly cold water and a color favoring shampoo and conditioner. Overall, I highly recomment it!

This is a great product which gives a strong long lasting vibrant colour, however, it is not turquoise it’s just blue.

I’ve ordered this product before in a different colour. I could tell immediately that there is something wrong with this one, as well as the bottle not being full. The consistency was jelly like rather than liquid, and I tested it and the colour didn’t come out at all. I tried to request a refund or replacement but apparently this product isn’t eligible. So I’ve got a hair dye that I can’t use through no fault of my own, and no way of getting a refund or replacement.

With the reviews being hit and miss I bit the bullet and brought the product. I wanted a nice blue for my upcoming holiday but didn't want the colour to wash out too quickly before I jet off. I opted for the amplified version as it was stronger and would stay vibrant for longer (haven't washed it yet). I must say I did not do the dye job myself a friend of mine who is a hairdresser professionally bleached my hair up to a platinum blonde before applying the manic panic dye. I would suggest if you want the best results being a more pigmentation and solid coverage I would get your hair bleached professionally prior to using this 😊 Also I would put some vaseline on the forehead and behind the ears to prevent staining as seen in the photo (photo taken immediately after dying) but the staining comes off easy with a facial cleanser or a bit of perfume on a cotton bud. Can't wait to see how it lasts and maybe try different colours in the future!

Easy to use, very strong and flashy color, doesn't tint the skin too much. I can't recommend this enough.

Reinschmieren, rauswaschen, fertig... Greift nicht die Haare an... Also sie werden nicht strohig, oder so... Kopfhaut lässt sich die Farbe auch sehr leicht entfernen, bzw wäscht sich ohne Probleme gleich mit ab. Färbt nicht auf dem Kissen. Riecht auch sehr angenehm.

On unbleached dark blonde hair it needs 2 sessions of dying to come out to a deep emerald colour. Washes out way too quick though. The old formula was better.

Ich kaufe persönlich nur die Farben von Manic Panic. Sie enttäuschen nur selten und färben das Haar intensiv, wenn man es vorher richtig aufhellt. Sie sind sehr deckend und bei richtiger Anwendung genau so, wie auf dem Bild angegeben. Aber Vorsicht: nicht nur Haare werden gefärbt, sondern auch Haut und Badezimmer. Empfehle also die Verwendung von Handschuhen und gutem Putzmittel, wenn man eine Sauerei vermeiden möchte.
