Ripper Energy Plus Juice Can 500 Ml (Pack of 12)

I'm relatively new to monster drinks and I saw this and thought I would give it a try. Got it on next day delivery and it came at the time was stated. First mouthful tasted like pineapple and then consuming more it started tasting fruity/tropical and I was enjoying it very much to the bottom of the can. After consuming two cans it became very sickly and I struggled to get through my third.The fourth can became unbearable to drink as by this time I was feeling quite sick. Whilst writing this review I am just finishing my fourth can but that has taken a good fifteen minutes to do so. I buy monster drinks because I enjoy the taste, they don't seem to do much other than elevating my mood very slightly and that is short lived, others have said that it gives them a boost for the day but that isn't the case for me. To sum this up I enjoyed the first few cans then the sweetness becomes a little too much for me. Would I buy this again, no? Only for the reasons stated, there is nothing wrong with this drink apart from it being far too sweet for my liking Would I recommend this drink, yes I would if you like very sweet drinks or the taste of fruit juice neat ( without adding water to it ) Well worth the price paid.

I'll start off by saying I love it. This is something I used to by at a local Tesco metro to help get me through a long day at the office after a lack sleep the previous night. I've tried many other energy drinks and most of them while providing energy do taste and smell quite foul. Monster Ripper on the other hand is the complete opposite, Nice smelling/tasting fruity based energy drink! The pineapple flavour really comes through in this. Most importantly about this beverage is it provides a real boost of energy when you need it the most and is still pleasant to drink. Two things should be noted about this product, first of all the caffein content is quite high even by most energy drink standards so drinking too much can lead to crazy rush that at one point left my hands shaking! (A lesson not to over do it with energy drinks) Secondly this drink has a high sugar content and is very sweet. This is not really a problem for me as I like the taste but some might find the sweet taste a little overpowering. If you need energy but don't like drinking most energy drinks that often taste like sewage then monster ripper will work just fine.

Generally thought it was going to be the OG can of the ripper, I brought for my fiancé and as kids we use to get a monster and go sit by our tree and this was always her favourite, I just thought it would of been a nice walk down memory lane with the OG can, kinda disappointed

I have to say I was very anxious choosing whether or not to buy this product. My friend recommended it too me and I too now recommend it to everyone. It is a nice fruity flavor, but not the cliche artificial tasting strawberry or orange flavor. It is not too sweet and to be honest, I did not feel the energy kick afterwards. That did not put it off for me though as that kick can leave you in an jittery state for an hour or so, This product did not. Buy It - It tastes like the smell you get sitting next to a fruit cocktail maker on the beach... Apparently!

A bit too sweet but it doesn't taste weird like so many others do and I keep drinking it so I guess I like it. Because of the glucose syrup and sucralose though I try not to drink this too often. They should just let the natural sweetness of the juice sweet the drink up and then add needed regular sugar to top it off.

I like energy drinks. They're like coffee, but not quite so bitter. But this isn't my favourite. It's not even my favourite of the Monster brand. It's okay, and I don't hate it... But I wouldn't be in a rush to buy it again. It tastes alright, nothing standout, but the bottom third of the can ALWAYS feels grainy, whereas the first two thirds are a lot smoother. Also, drinking the whole can makes me feel bloated, which I don't tend to get with even the other Monster brand. Give them a try, but I wouldn't get this unless you know you like them already.

I was at first abit skeptical when buying groceries from Amazon as they lack certain details such as the sell by date, which is quite important, none the less the item arrived as described packed very securely. The dates on the batch I received was 2015, so plenty of time to get them demolished haha :D Great tasting drink, brilliant price ..what else do you need?
