Lindy 0.5m IEC C14 to IEC C13 Extension Power Cable, Black

Bought four of these for a project but ended up not needing them due to having enough already so have returned them. They seem to be decent and of good quality as you'd expect from Lindy.On a downside, the Amazon box they came in was the size that you got a VCR in back in the 1990s which was far too big, and there was a lot of brown parcel paper inside to pad it, yet I was able to fit all four cable bags in a box that was 85% smaller in order to return it, so Amazon really need to think about selecting the right size box for sending their orders in!

Bought this to connect my monitor to my UPS. Its blue which makes it easier to identify which cable is which.

Purchased this and another colour for my mono-block amplifier's to replace the standard black leads. As they have an additional AC output for connecting other equipment, I used one as it was to connect both amps together, then fitted a UK 3 pin plug to the other one, connecting that to mains supply. Being coloured, they stand out well as part of my audio set up. They are great value, good, molded plugs having male and female at opposite ends. I am confident they will last, as they look and feel good quality at a very good price. Highly recommended.

Bought 6 of these for use with a new APC UPS, the sort which *only* has female IEC power sockets on the back, and no 3 pin UK mains sockets. Since these cables are a good price I though it preferable to buy a complete set of new mains cables rather than trailing a 6-way mains block off the UPS. They're good quality solid moulded connectors, and it's nice that these cables come in a variety colours as I now know that red=UPS cable, making it easy to distinguish UPS cabling from unprotected mains cables.One thing I would suggest to anyone buying these is to actually measure the length of cables you need rather than guessing, or assuming that "2m is probably long enough". I realised too late that one monitor is about 2.5m from the UPS, so I've had to chain two mains cables end-to-end for that one.

I wanted Red cables to identify UPS backed equipment. Glad I chose these. Really good quality. Moulded connectors. Seems very sturdy.Can find cheaper, but these are not exactly expensive.No problems at all.

You'll probably never need to remove these but they are great quality and I have come to love Lindy products, not least for the price!
