Great coffee beans and pepper/other seeds grinder. Can do up to very fine grinding. Good simple oldschool design, lovely cream colour. Feels powerful engine to do task, not struggling at all. Very happy with the purchase. Just not washable inside - which is acceptable for me. Cleaning is really easy with the brush.

Perfect for the price. I’ve tried a couple of others going cheap, but as they say buy cheap buy twice. This is good quality and does what it says on the tin. I’ve used it few times now and the last is still as good as the first grind!.

I was looking for a spice grinder to grind together different herbs and spices into a uniform size to sprinkle on meat and other uses during cooking, and at this it is reasonably effective and it is reasonably priced. It is quiet and simple to operate and it doesn't seem to generate any significant heat during my use. However, it feels flimsy and I'm not sure how long it will last, although I hope I am pleasantly surprised. It has a short attached power cord which cannot be removed, and it is difficult to clean as a result. Spices often get stuck under and around the central blade mechanism during use. It is average in terms of speed; spices have a tendency to clump up the sides requiring it to be stopped and shaken repeatedly in order to evenly grind spices together. I have not had another spice grinder so do not know how common these issues are with this product type, but when I replace this I will be looking for one that doesn't have these flaws.
