I read a LOT of reviews before buying this product, nobody seemed 100% happy with any soil tester so I bought it and hoped for the best. It has been my experience that this is accurate which is all I wanted. It's also very easy to read with the backlight and tells you other things like the temperature, light and moisture levels at the same time. A great product!

Bought this to help save my plants that I either over water or under water. Sadly, this device no longer detects when the soil is wet, it's either "dry" our "dry+", even after I have watered the plant.Edit: the seller contacted me about a full refund because I wasn't happy with their product, so I'm changing the level of stars to reflect the standard of the seller, not the product.

So far every plant I've measured PH on keeps showing LO. While my other, and much cheaper PH meter accurately reads the PH around 6. This seems to be the case for soils that I know are Alkaline too.The screen even in evening light was hard to read so I had to keep bending over to read it, probably not good for the back doing this too much.It's also a lot cheaper feeling plastic than it appears to be on the product page. Not sure how long until the probe snaps off. Doesn't seem worth the price tag. The cheaper non-battery powered testers seem to be better in all regards.I've now tested this with a PH meter I know is accurate. There's 2 PH levels difference! It says my Alkaline thriving fruit trees are in Acidic soil whereas my accurate PH meter says the soil is alkaline. I also tested the moisture. This 4in1 said there was normal moisture in a plant pot that i have just heavily watered that has water coming out of the drain holes. My accurate moisture reader says the soil is completely wet, as it should.Therefore this meter is either faulty or next to useless! So i would advise anyone that cares about keeping their plants alive to not use this meter or test with a good one before you do!

The product is of poor quality and definitely does not feel like a £30 item. The plastic is loosely put together and the feel of the item is poor and cheap. The feel of the buttons is not very great, however over all it functions as advertised. The readings are instant and the display is well lit.

I was a bit apprehensive about getting this as it is at the higher end of the price scale this type of product but boy was it worth it. Runs off a 9V battery and a has big, clear display that lights up. I was really impressed with not only the build quality (which is great) but how good the sensors are, reading PH, temperature, light and soil moister. Really glad I bought this and would recommend this for anyone, expecially if you are (like me) new to gardening.

It worked well until until its fouth outing when the probe pulled out of the plastic body. It hasn't worked since. Asked the company for a replacement without any joy.

Der Tester kam gut verpackt bei mir an, aber irgendwie hab ich das Gefühl, dass die Messwerte eher zufallsgeneriert sind.Der pH-Wert fängt immer irgendwo jenseits von 9 an und zählt dann langsam runter. Sogar bei kalkhaltigem Boden landet er irgendwann bei Werten um 6. Umgedreht startet er bei saurem Boden irgendwo bei 3 und endet bei 8.Wenn der Messfühler bewegt wird, dann fängt er immer wieder von vorne an hoch oder runter zu zählen.Das einzige, was einigermaßen zu funktionieren scheint ist der Anzeiger für die Bodenfeuchtigkeit. Da gehts von dry+, dry, norm, wet, wet+Für meine Kübelpflanzen war das ganz praktisch, wenn die einen stets feuchten Boden ohne Staunässe benötigt haben.Das gibt dann nochmal nen Stern... für mehr reicht es aber nicht.*Update*Der Verkäufer war so nett mir ein funktionierendes Ersatzprodukt zu zuschicken, obwohl die Rückgabefrist verstrichen war. Sehr zuvorkommend!Die pH-Werte bleiben jetzt stabil. Somit hatte das alte Gerät wirklich nur einen technischen Defekt. Der neue Bodentester funktioniert wie erwartet.

Tra le sue impostazioni d'utilizzo figurano le seguenti:- Misurazione del PH del terreno: Inserendo la punta dello strumento nel terreno (ma anche in un solido intriso d'acqua, oppure in un liquido) è possibile verificare a schermo il PH della materia in oggetto, potendone valutare le proprietà basiche o acide con immediatezza o semplicità. Der erste und zweite Eindruck: Es ist nicht sonderlich stabil, aber es macht genau das, was es soll und anpreist. ...Als mein Interesse an dem PH-Wert in unserem Garten immer größer wurde, weil der Rasen nicht mehr so schön war und die Ernte schwächelte, kaufte ich ein (relativ teures) Probenset im Baumarkt. Das Ergebnis war in der Tendenz ein leicht zu saurer Boden. Die fünf Proben waren aufwändig und zeitraubend. Ich hatte aber die Stellen und die PH-Werte bzw. Messergebnisse dokumentiert. Und da ich den Boden mit entsprechenden Maßnahmen verbessern wollte, war klar, dass ich ein weiteres Set vom Baumarkt bräuchte, um die Veränderungen zu sehen. Da war die Entscheidung für dieses Messgerät nach Vergleich schnell gefallen. Nach der Lieferung habe ich dann die fünf Messstellen mit dem Gerät nachgemessen. Und was soll ich sagen: Alle Ergebnisse stimmten überein und seit dem vertraue ich dem Bodentestgerät bei der weiteren Analyse. Die PH-Werte des Bodens haben sich inzwischen schon ein wenig verbessert und ich bin zufrieden. Mein Tipp: Da der Messstab im Übergang zum Kunststoffgehäuse einen weniger soliden Eindruck macht, ziehe ich das Gerät vom ersten Tag an mit den Fingern am Messstab und am Gehäuse aus der Erde. Ich kann mir gut vorstellen, dass es sonst bei einem festen Boden auseinander reißt. Genau so, wie es hier schon von einem Rezensenten beschrieben wurde. Zu dem günstigen Preis eine nachvollziehbare und akzeptable Schwäche. :-)
