Panasonic answer phone
This is a very good phone all round, with good tonality and a straightforward easy to understand menu system. My one small gripe with the phone is the length of the line chord. This phone chord six foot long at its maximum, if you need a longer chord than you will have to look at purchasing a Panasonic line extension lead,As this is recommended in the instruction manual the phone will not work very well with other brands of extension line.So to sum up, very good phone but the length of line chord let's sit down somewhat.

Good product easy to set up
So far the product has responded as expected. It was easy to set up and although it has only been set up for a week and we do not receive many calls, has worked well. Product has plenty of features and covers off everything which we want. The handset seems a little flimsy but that may be because I am used to standard connected phones.

Easy to set up
Good looking phone which was so easy to set up. I didn’t even have to record a message for the answering machine, it was already done.

Disappointing
Remember the old phones – ones with a dial? You rarely had a problem with them as I recall. How things have changed. I bought this phone recently after considerable research on what was available within my price range. My existing Panasonic had started to play up and the buttons were failing so I was a bit reluctant to replace it with another Panasonic model (but then, we can all expect everything to fail after an unreasonable time these days, can’t we?)My main gripe is the sound quality which, as others have pointed out, is less than acceptable with a distinct lack of clarity. It was fine on my previous model, so what’s happened? The menu on the handset is not as straight forward as previously, either. People who design this stuff have a very weird sense of logic but we find that everywhere. in addition, the screen is slow to respond. The instruction manual is not great either. Someone has tried very hard and failed. In fact this particular model is not even listed on the front cover so some of the instructions are slightly different. The index is not comprehensive. I had to look through the booklet to find how to bar calls and when I’d found it, the instructions did not appear to apply to this model.I had a ceiling on what I was prepared to spend and I exceeded it with this phone. I’m disappointed with it and I wouldn’t recommend that you buy it. But would we get something better if we spent more? I really don’t know but I find it difficult to believe. This is the second Panasonic product I have purchased recently and having read some unfavourable reviews for that product I'm now forced to conclude Panasonic products are really not what they were.
