A fairly designed product and seems like it is working for what it claims!This product seems to be fairly good compared to other slightly cheaper versions on Amazon and its super shiny, small and fitting takes only 5 minutes and then straight in use! No pressure drops, no leakages etc.I observed that water feels good and you can see more lather with soap and shampoo etc. Skin doesn’t feel that dry after using this filter water (don’t expect magic here, but you will agree once you used it 1-2 times) It doesn’t change the hardness, minerals or composition of water but just filters the chlorine, bacteria and other heavy metals.I am going to use it full for next few months and will see but looks like this one is staying for a long time now; replacement cartridges are also easily available and are at alright price.Only Con is – there is no indicator to know when to replace the cartridge so you have to use your judgement! Or just change after 4-6 months.All in all good value for your money and a reliable product.

Seems ok but I can't get evidence of the quality of the water. Should bring a item to adapt a difficult and narrow taps. For me its a bit large not the best size.

** Update August 2017 **I thought I would just update to show how much I LOVE this product. I have saved an absolute fortune with this product. I no longer need any Viakal or Mr Muscle daily shower shine - just a squidgy for the screen. I no longer have skin issues and my hair is shiny and bouncy. So glad I bought this... amazing!** Original Review April 2017 **I was skeptical about this product, but the amount of Mr Muscle and Viakal I was going through was insane. I live in Bucks and we have really hard water.The product came quickly and the filter was already in the casing. All you needed to do was unscrew the existing shower cord and then screw on (remembering to put the supplied tape and rubber washer in place first to prevent leaking!) and then run the water through for 5 mins to clear out any loose charcoal from the water filter.Five days in and the difference is noticeable. I don't need to Mr Muscle the shower down after each use as there isn't much residue to clear down. My hair and skin are much softer and I don't need to apply as much moisturiser post-shower.Simple to install and it seems to work well. I haven't gone to the extreme of testing with litmus paper, I just go by the amount of cleaning I need to do now versus beforehand. So from that perspective, I am happy with the results. Would happily recommend to anyone battling limescale in the bathroom as it greatly reduces the issue.

GENUINE REVIEW (take a look at most other reviewers previous reviews and you'll see that most of them are probably not genuine)I live in Bristol which is an area with hard water. I bought this product in the hope that it may soften the water for my shower, which is nearly impossible to tell solely by feel. So I bought a water hardness test kit to find out (photo).It turns out that the water coming out of my tap in my kitchen was 260ppm and the water coming out of my shower was 220ppm. An improvement, but not much of one. As someone who was hoping it may improve the dryness of my skin I have experienced since moving to the area, I am certainly disappointed. Needless to say I won't be buying a refill cartridge.However it was easy to fit, doesn't leak, and it looks quite nice.Beware of dishonest reviews. By the looks of things products such as this one must commission reviews on amazon in order to gain a better rating and a decent number of (fake) positive reviews. It's a shame a trusted site like Amazon is yet to screen this sort of consumer injustice. Of course I may be wrong, but look at the positive reviews and their reveiwers and judge for yourself.

Our regular shower head leaves shower glass door very dirty and stained with hard water droplets. However, when using this showerhead there is no hard water stains- So it honestly does filter water and make a difference.

Still get quite a bit of limescale build up - think it does make the water a little cleaner

This product was advised to me by a friend to decrease limescale in the shower so I bought it a while ago to try. And it works!So far the best product I've tried. The water comes out really clean and it doesn't smell like chlorine either. The filter is slightly heavy, but I guess that's bound to happen with good sturdy material.The seller communication is absolutely fantastic, they usually send me an e-mail to tell me if the product is already available or not.It's very easy to put together and I've never had any leaks through it.I don't have the means to actually test the water to see how long it lasts but the water felt nice even after 4 months. Then my shower head broke and I had to buy it again, but that's another story.Overall a great product and I will continue to use it. Price seems adequate as well.

Not good. This doesn't fit all showers as I found out. It's connection is too large to fit on my shower so I had to connect it to the shower head but it's way too heavy so just made the shower head droop in its holder due to the weight. Wouldn't recommend.

I was reading the other reviews and thought I would give it a try since I have a high chlorine smell in our water and makes my skin very dry. I installed it using the provided teflon tape with my hands no tools needed at least for my shower head. I ran the water to remove the carbon out of the filter for a few minutes until it ran clear. I then held my hand under the running water and smelled my hand I couldn't smell any chlorine like before. I was then ready to take a shower for the full test. After I was in the shower for around 10-15mins and got out to dry off my skin felt much better then usually does not dry and itchy like before the filter install. I would recommend this to someone who has the same type water situation I have dealt with for a while now. Not sure how much chlorine it removes but sure seems night and day better my skin feels much happier now. Its also a cheaper alternative then a whole house filter system. Hope this helps!
