I ordered these because I really needed some soup bowls and wanted plates to go with them as well. These caught my eye because they are ceramic and, well, just adorable. When they arrived I was so excited to see that I was not mistaken in buying them. The bowls and the plates are just as described, the sizes are perfect for a good sized bowl of soup, and the plate for a piece of bread or some crackers or a salad. They are a good weight and are dishwasher safe. They seem to be well made, and they arrived packaged very well so there were no broken bowls or plates.

Purchased as wedding gift to add to set of 4. While pricey, plates are sturdy, quality made, and beautiful. Nuetral colors to work in most kitchens. Love the multi-designs in set. Would recommend.

Update: the seller contacted me about the problems w the plates & offered a refunded. I appreciate this customer service & have adjusted my review accordingly. Prior: Poor quality & quality control. Multiple plates have silverware marks. Yet, I have some that even though they've been used equally, there are no marks. So, the quality control is def bad as I must assume the coating was too thin on some of the plates. WAAAAAY TOO EXPENSIVE for this to occur!!
