Eton Poultry Aluminium Feed Scoop, 1 Kg

Pleased with this. I bought it for gardening as a compost scoop. It's perfect for that but it did need to be this capacity viz. 1 kg/ 35oz. Good quality, robust and excellent price.

I’ll be using this for soil. However I purchased one before which was smaller than this one. I use frequently and like it. Very nicely crafted for scoping. But it went out of stock. I stumbled across this one and so quick I did. Good value for money and ease of use. Much bigger scooping capacity and size will be great for my needs in the garden. So glad I was able to find and so very much recommend.

Nice, sturdy and well made - large scoop

Like someone else stated in a review, I bought this as a coal scoop. It works very well for this purpose and I'm glad I bought it. The material is thick and sturdy aluminium, nothing flimsy about this. I can jam it into the coal bunker and scoop out a decent number of pieces each time to fill my house coal bucket and take indoors without loads of mess. One thing I would say though - the handle is very short. I'm a 5'3 female with quite small hands as it is, and if I think it's a bit too short anyone with larger hands may find this to be an issue. It doesn't effect my ability to use it, but only just. I realise I'm using this scoop for a slightly different, heavier task than it is potentially intended for, and that because I need to use a bit of force to scoop the coal, I could do with a longer handle. If you're using this for a lighter task like grain and bird feed etc, you probably won't have any major problem.

Bought this for my wife who uses it in her greenhouse for repotting and other garden tasks. She said sometimes it works better than a trowel.

This is a lovely scoop for feed animal such as horse, find it good on hand & ease of pushing into contents to fill the scoop. My wife used the original plastic one, but is using this one now. Some complaints in reviews about handle. Not for me, handle is great, my hands are by no one way big.

The scoop it’s strong enough for the job, but the handle size is very small. Because of the size of the handle it’s more suitable for children to use.

It's a bit bigger than I thought but I only need 1 scoop now in each bucket for my horses
