Bug Clear for Fruit & Veg, Concentrate, 250 ml

My old apple tree got badly infested by wooly aphids. I pruned hard to remove worst infected branches and young growth. I sprayed with 3 L of Bug Clear and 2 d later, most of the blighters were dead. After a week I repeated with 2 L and now, after 3 weeks, almost all (>99,5%) of the aphids are gone. I have new leaf growth, some small fruit are expanding, and there is one bunch of blossom - in Late July!

As I write this review I am really unable to say that it works. As the temp is still too low for the bugs I need to stop have to appear. I have still have used it as the leaves I need to protect from the bugs have all come out. Only time will tell but I will use it again in about a week just to make sure.

I prefer buying this as a concentrate as it is better value than premixed in a sprayer. I use it for controlling whitefly in my hedges and also spidermite. I mix it up in a pressure sprayer.If you are going to buy this PLEASE AVOID buying this from "JDS ONLINE" as it may seem cheaper but their customer service is by far the worst I have ever experienced. Almost criminal.

I used this on my runner beans this year as it was not a good year for Blackfly. It certainly kills the beasties but does not remove them. They just stick to the bean shoots and need to be washed off which can be quite messy.
