When a killer sunset pushes your afternoon hike into overtime, you’ll be happy you have an extra layer and a headlamp for the way down. And you’ll be hydrated thanks to the 3D Hydro Reservoir included with the Swift 15.

Great pack but lacks organizers
I tried a LOT of backpacks and this was the winner so my 4 star review is because of what it doesn't have despite it being the best of what I could find. I wanted a backpack that I could bring on hikes and adventures for two of us and I wanted to be able to fit in a sweatshirt for both of us as well as snacks. I didn't want anything big and bulky because I really don't want to break my back and be sweating from carrying a pack.I'm 5'5" and a pretty normal build and I found that this fit very comfortably. The pack comes up high but it has straps to allow you to adjust it up toward your neck/shoulders or away from them. The other packs I tried had handles in this area that stuck up and jabbed into my neck and this does NOT do that at all as the handle lays flat. This pack actually feel like it molds to you. The arm straps also didn't cut in too far or stick out, they give me good flexibility while wearing the pack. The pack has a small opening for the bladder which is very streamline. The large compartment has zero pockets, and this is my only issue as I wish it had two little mesh pockets or something for my organization OCD ;) There's a front pocket that has a key loop to keep valuables which is padded and lined with a very soft fabric (great for those sunglasses!). I also LOVE the little loops on the zippers so that it's super easy to quickly zip and unzip. There's three clips on the front/side and they're very easy to use. The very front one holds a stretchy mesh compartment closed. Other packs had a zipper compartment for this spot and I liked this better as it's easier access when you're hiking and you don't have to take off the pack to unzip and get to whatever is in this section. The side clips allow you to compress or expand the size of the pack. We use Takeya bottles for smaller hikes and the 24 and 32 oz both fit in the side pockets (although he 24 seems more comfortable) so they're a pretty good depth and size. The bladder hose has a lock that easily slides up and down (if you deliberately move it) on the strap. I wish there was a magnetic holder for the mouth piece on the opposite side in case you wanted to loop it over and up but that's a personal preference and there's nothing wrong with how Gregory has designed this. There's two small straps for the waist support but I don't know that they do much more than keep the pack on your lower back when you bend over. I like this personally as I didn't want big hip supports for daily hikes but if you're expecting real structure and hard core supports, this doesn't have those.Overall, I really love this pack. I wish it had a couple dividers but it obviously wasn't a deal breaker for me. The color is also nicer than expected. It's sort of a pomegranate straps, cranberry body and cool orange accents (I sort of wish the main body had some more of the orange accents!). Definitely worth the purchase!

Nice simple bag, lacking some features
Update:10 months later I still absolutely love this pack. I use it all the time for all sorts of adventures and it’s just great. After months of use the bad plastic taste is finally gone, but it did take a very long time. I still plan on trying to add another small pocket the the main pack area, but overall I highly recommend!I spent months trying to find the perfect hiking daypack in the 20L or under range. I eventually narrowed it down to Gregory because I absolutely love their products. I am very happy with this bag overall. It’s extremely comfortable to me, even when carrying the full 3L of water and items for a full day of hiking. The suspension system is very impressive for being so light-weight. I wasn’t sure how I was going to like the across the chest water line situation but I like it. The color is super cute and the pack feels nice and light and super well-made. I only have a couple cons, which aren’t huge because I have yet to find a daypack that has everything I want. I really think this pack would benefit from at least one type of inner storage organization. If you want your things to be secured in a zipper pocket, you can only put them in the giant main area or the front zipper. I would greatly appreciate another zipper storage compartment inside the main body of the bag. I carry a lot of small things with me on hikes like bandaids, cards, keys, pocket knife, etc. and having to keep all of it in the front zipper pocket with my phone is really annoying. I honestly might even try to add some kind of main compartment organization myself.Another complaint is that I wish it had the full sunglasses stow system that some newer Gregory bags offer. The little sunglasses strap is okay, but their new system with the thing you can pull around your sunglasses is much better. I actually just put a hair tie around that arm strap of that bag and have a makeshift one myself. I wish there were more places to hang things off of this bag as well.My third con is that the water bladder has an absolutely horrible plastic taste and smell that I still haven’t gotten out of it after using 3 times and deep-cleaning it with a solution. The bladder itself is awesome and it really dries like a water bottle but I’m still trying to work that horrendous taste out of it.Overall I’m really happy with this simple pack. The backpack+water bladder combo is a really great deal. I plan on using this for all my future hikes and bike rides. If the pack had all the wanted features I listed above however while retaining the style and shape of the bag I would certainly have paid more for it.

Love this pack!
I've taken this pack on several short hikes (3-5 miles) and LOVE it. The water bladder works well with no leaks, but it's also easy to just stuff a water bottle in the side pocket for a shorter hike. Good amount of space for the things you'd want to take with you on a shorter hike, while being comfortable/easy to carry and unobtrusive.

nice pack but 1 major flaw
Major flaw the magnet on the piece you drink out of does not stick to the magnet that it is supposed to go on otherwise would've given 5 stars for comfort and pack space. Be nice to have a replacement piece sent.Update Gregory did send replacement however the magnet just does not stick still. Months later. Also need to replace the hose but having a hard time finding a replacement. Waiting to hear back from Gregory customer service.

Comfortable, lots of space, great bladder system
Great day pack, bladder is a bonus considering it's a 3D and requires no cleaning kits👍
