Q: Does this ship with a UK plug?

It only comes with a two pin european plug. For UK used you can use an adapter, I use a Brennenstuhl model 1508533. Don't try a shaver adapter, the startup current will blow the fuse.

Q: looks the same as the vantec enclosure? does this also only include usa plug like the vantec?

EU plug only unfortunately. But I was able to find a replacement power supply online that was very affordable.
