The box arrived on time and was complete with all parts and hardware. They were all well-marked and were adequately packed using styrofoam. No parts were damaged in shipment. The 68 lb. box was pretty heavy for this 73 year old guy to lug into the house. After looking through the 17-page instruction pamphlet (9 pages both sides) I decided I would build it in sections on the dining room floor and then haul them up to a very cluttered den for final construction. This bookcase was built in China, so I didn't expect easily explained instructions. I was right about that, as there were few written words, just drawings. Thankfully, the numerous clearly done illustrations were enough to easily walk me through the build. It took about 1 1/2 hours, at a very relaxed pace, to put the bookcase together. All went smoothly with no serious issues. Because I was moving the case sections in parts to my upstairs den I decided to change the order of how I did the build. It was so straight-forward I could easily do that. Transport was easy in pieces. When it was together I was pleasantly surprised the completed bookcase was sturdy, as many other reviewers said, and that it was reasonably attractive for a utilitarian furniture piece. Let's be clear, this bookshelf is nice but it's not high grade furniture, so it's probably something you wouldn't want to have in your living room. For furniture you have to build this Tribesigns bookcase, IMHO, is way better than average. They use a screw-in pin and cam method in construction, so I don't know how sturdy it will be long term. If any pin and cam loosens a bit, I don't see why I can't tighten it up with a few twists of a screwdriver. Another nice feature is individual pieces of wood screwed in the back of every shelf tier using the help of 20 small plastic push-in holders. These, when installed, tighten up construction a bit. The metal base the case shelves mount to are strong, nice looking and easy to clean under. Am I happy with this bookcase? Oh yes! Having another 5–31" long bookshelves that have 11.81" clearance is a big plus. The depth of each shelf goes back a healthy 11 1/4". Lots of room!. Even without securing the bookcase to the wall it stands tall and steady. Impressive. I won't gamble and will use a 3/4" x 3"x 24" board screwed to wall studs to be the base the bookcase will be fixed to. The hardware Tribesigns provides for this might work, but with my method I know it will be rock-solid secure, albeit aesthetically less appealing. I started to load the bookcase, and it's clear it will hold an enormous number of books and quite a few plastic storage containers (for lightbulbs, batteries, printer ink, pens, markers ..... etc.). They would go on the top shelf and case top. Is this bookcase worth the money? I initially thought the price was high at $159 but seeing how big and sturdy it is, how much heavy use it will get, and how much better my stuff will be organized has me rethinking its price. Size, sturdiness, looks and ease of construction were the primary reasons I bought this Tribesigns bookcase.

Previously, I have not purchased many pieces of "pre-fab" furniture such as this. It's usually pretty cheesy & unsturdy, poorly manufactured & often packed poorly causing damage to occur during shipping. Well, not with this company! Tribesigns has PERFECTED the manufacture & safe delivery of fantastically priced & designed furniture for just about any need one could have! A few weeks ago, I purchased this awesome 83" L-shaped Executive desk (HOGA-HL018) that comes with a 3 drawer, mobile filing cabinet. In fact, I bought an extra 3 drawer cabinet to suit my needs in my home office. It was remarkably priced, delivered quickly, amazing packaging, with absolutely no damage or defects whatsoever, no missing parts (they actually include EXTRA pieces!). If that's not enough, it was quite an easy build for me, just one person. I am a Tribesigns building expert now! I wonder if they'd hire me to build there stuff! I like the desk so much, I also needed a small shelving unit as well & went right back to Tribesigns & found this great piece that I just built yesterday. It is the HOGA-XK00203 6 shelf bookshelf storage unit. Now this was truly a simple build. Once again, the price was awesome, delivery was fast, with no damage or missing parts, & an awesome design for such a simple piece. It comes with a set of digital LED strip lighting, one strip per shelf, that you can control from their app that allows total control of the colors & different lighting effects, right from your cell phone & has the ability to sync to music & so much more! Just so cool! Seriously, as a semi-retired retail brick & mortar store owner for the past 48 years, I would love to work for a company like this. Really! From their website & the ease of ordering from so many different sources as well, their great design & build quality, awesome "LIVE", easy to reach customer service, online videos to assist with the build process...well, this company has just got it all together. A rare thing these days. Trust me, I am a hard guy to satisfy, but this Tribesigns product line is just the perfect product for anyone looking for this type of furniture. Sure, I'm sure that things happen & every single order isn't perfect...things do happen, but this company has it all together, from beginning to end. Don't even pay attention to any 1, 2, or 3 star reviews. There's ALWAYS someone wanting to complain about EVERYTHING! This is truly a 5 STAR company, serving their clients with 100% satisfaction, guaranteed! Give them a try. You'll be glad you did. I know that I am...& no...they did not pay me to write this! :-}} P.S. Forgive the mess on my new desk. You should have seen it BEFORE I got this new Tribesigns desk!

Looks great and easy to put together. the only issue qould be the LED lights. they're tricky to line up and can become unstuck fairly easy
