When it says, razor sharp, believe it to be true! Sliced through 3M Thinsulate 600 like butter, no issues at all! Also went through some Resonix foam sheet with ease, this was all for a soundproofing job on a vehicle with lots and lots of cutting of materials. Fantastic pair of scissors, although definitely not made for a lefty, after cutting for 2 days and not being able to use both hands to cut, my right hand was hurtin'. Just pointing out to other leftys that its not really usable with a left hand.

I bought this product about 10 years ago. These scissors are so strong and sharp I was able to cut through multiple pieces of paper (like 20-25 sheets). As a teacher/coach I would need to shred player paperwork with medical info. Being that paperwork was stapled and having hundreds of packets to discard, I'd grab multiple packets and cut the stapled corners off so I could run the sheets through the shredder. At times I had so many packets together using one cut that I later realized I'd actually been cutting directly through staples and I had no idea because they were cutting through so smoothly/effortlessly. These scissors are bigger than most scissors I've used. As a 6'0" dude this was not an issue with hand size and grip, but maybe something to keep in mind if you have smaller hands. If you want over-built fantastic scissors, look no further.

These are excellent fabric scissors! Very comfortable handle and seriously sharp. Bought these several years ago and use them only for cutting out garment fabric. Bought a pair of Gingher scissors several years ago because so many sewists raved about them so I decided to try a pair. I don't like them at all. Personally, I can't stand the all metal handle that is just too uncomfortable and cold to the tough. The Fiskars 9" Sheers handle is ultra comfortable and molded perfectly to the shape of the hand. The sharpness of the blades rival those of more expensive brands. Great value for the money! Will definitely buy again when the time comes.

We use these scissors in our office on a daily basis. They are RAZOR sharp and cut through a variety of things we cut on a daily basis from paper to cardboard to fabric to even thick sticky back Industrial Velcro that comes on a large roll. We are able to use these scissors with daily use and they seem to last us about 3 years per pair before they are gummy from glue residue or dull. We have yet to have to tighten the handle. They cut a straight line, but I can see where the one negative reviewer would have issues with arthritis. These are large handled scissors and they are not lightweight.. We always have 4 or 5 pairs around at a time as everyone seems to hoard them over the cheaper pairs that we purchase for light duty use in case these are being used on a job. :)

These scissors feel well-balanced and comfortable to hold, they are very sharp, and reserved exclusively for my dressmaking needs. They are a replacement for an identical pair that developed a flaw in the blades, most likely the result of a family member using them for an unauthorized purpose. I did notice that these are made in China, but the quality is as good as the original pair.

I received gray instead of black scissors even though the product info description clearly says black. Still good scissors at least.

The blades are very sharp.

The sharpest scissors I have ever seen, seriously don't cut yourself on the edge. They also hold an edge well in rough use. The only other problem is they work so well they tend to grow legs and disappear.

These are the sharpest scissors I've ever had. Noticably sharper than the 3M scissors that I also purchased recently, and well worth spending the little extra on.

No os podeis imaginar como cortan. Son increibles. Tendre que aprender a cortar con ellas, van solas. Merecen ser compradas.

El producto viene con un afilado de fábrica impecable. El único problema es que si se caen al piso se deforma el filo de la hoja más cortante y no hay modo de corregirlo a su estado original. El producto es bueno, pero es muy delicado y difícil de mantener con un filo óptimo una vez que lo ha perdido.

Fiskars makes the best scissors, in my opinion. My grandparents were tailors and they used it back in Poland. I still pair of fiskars after them, which is as old as myself. They are the best scissors I ever had. Honestly, the grip is so good that even new pair I bought to cut things other than fabric doesn't fit as well to my hand. Great brand

These cut through fabric like a hot knife through butter. Great tool for your sewing kit.
