500l/h Internal Fish Tank Filter with 5w UV Steriliser for Aquarium All In One

Very pleased with this filer w/UV lights. Cleared our green water which I struggled to clear for months without success, cleared it in 3 days. You start seeing improvements after 24 hours, less green algae in 48 hrs and very clear in 3 days. by day 5 the fish tank water is crystal clear. I have never seen it this clear since I brought this tank about over a year ago. Very happy with it. We can see our poor Orandas now at last! Would recommend this product to anyone struggling with Algae. Priced well too.

Day 2 and my water is crystal clear. Consider it a quality product for the price.It is very quiet. Creates quite a lot of water flow. I have a 190l corner tank and any stronger would be too much. Would be too much if the fish I had required low/no current but is fine for what I have.Only criticism is the light indicator at the bottom is not very powerful. I panicked thinking the uv wasn't working. Had to turn all the lights off in the room at night and look at it straight on before I was confident it was on but it certainly is working.Happy with product for price. Would recommend.

It works well but will kill you fish because of plastic melting in water. Fish get skin and scale problems

Just superb, it has worked wonders on my tank, i had a problem with cloudy water after i had to changeone side of the filter media in my filter, it went all cloudy, not horrendously, but bad enough that it looked awfulso i put this in and overnight it worked its miracle, the water looks awesome now, i am leaving it on till its completely clearthen i will set it on a timer for 2 hours a day just to keep it under control, so when i do a water change and gravel cleanit keeps the water on the straight and narrow, its a bit of a job to get the bottom off to clean the bulb and mine for some reason and why it doesnt get 5 stars is it wont turn off even with the switch off, very strange, but i have found ways round that, and am happy with the results!!!

First pump I bought had faulty bulb. The replacement was very good. Believe me when I say the water was so bad we could barely see the fish and was crystal clear in 8 days.

Had the dreaded green water appear in my aquarium recently. It was very difficult to get rid of. Tried altering the light intensity and timing to no avail. So after taking advice decided to give this a go.My star rating does not reflect the effectiveness of the unit. Rather it reflects the poor attention to making sure everything is in the box.Half the contents were missing including the top housing rendering it completely useless. Sent it back for a refund which was issued quickly.For anyone who may be interested, I have since sorted the problem out with a four day complete blackout of the aquarium. So far the dreaded green water hasn’t reappeared.

Product arrived on time as usual with Amazon. I put the filter in tank for one month. Made no difference at all in fact made situation worse. I have now dismantled the filter and find that the UV bulb is faulty and has not worked from day one.!! Very disappointed.!! How do I get a replacement?? I am in my eighties not good at chasing problems.
