Looks like a good tool. But thread is not 8mm
I have multiple tips with tip adapters at 8mm, both male and female, and none of them will fit this thread. Thread is possibly custom size or specific to company…

Poor quality and durability
So I bought this for freshwater use in a local quarry. I received the spear and assembled it only to find it was rickety and was missing two of the rubber rings. I went to the quarry regardless attempting to make the best of my purchase but on the third shot the nylon string snapped that held the elastic band. My spear sunk to the bottom of the quarry. If you feel like throwing money into a pit this is the product for you. Your better off buying one from a store.

Quick to paralyze and easy to scrape
Traded in my 5' spear for this little guy. After 4 dives and 10 lionfish I'm really happy with it. Stops these pests dead and easy to scrape off into my containment locker.

Good for lionfish
Great spear for lionfish, but don’t try to spear anything bigger because it will bend and break. True story lol.
