Lipzor Light Device for Coldsores

I used to suffer from a cold sore maybe once or twice a year and used to use the compeed patches. While they did help with symptoms, they never really prevented the cold sore or the actual condition itself. After reading the reviews for this, I bought the product on sale for £30 nearly two years ago. I have not had a cold sore since.Whenever I would feel the dreaded tingle or that small tight bump on your lip that would tell you you were going to have an outbreak, I just gave it a blast of this three times a day and the next day the tingling would have stopped and I wouldn't have a cold sore. I decided to review this now because 2 days ago I didn't feel the warning tingly sign but I could feel almost a bump like dryness on my lip that would tell me one was going to erupt. I've been using this three times a day and the only symptom I have is a small little dry patch on my lip that you can't even see and would have definitely been the usual horrible,oozy, blister that I usually get had I not have used this product.This product stops the cold sore in it's tracks, the earlier you use this the better. If you suffer from coldsores but don't have the warning signs at the moment then I recommend you buy this product so the next time you feel the dreaded tingle you can stop yourself from even getting one. I take this with me whenever I'm going away or going on holiday so I can relax without having to worry about an outbreak, knowing it can be stopped and dealt with if I feel the tingle!It may seem a bit pricey but it does work, I think of it as an investment from the money I would be saving from repeated creams and patches I would usually have to buy for the coldsores I've managed to stop/cure with this product.

Bought this out of sheer desperation when a nasty cold sore appeared. It's been a year since my last one but when I do get them it's more like 5 or 6 merged into one huge monster. It arrived on day 4 of the cold sore and I started using this immediately along with the patches I'd been using for the first 4 days. I found it a little disconcerting that the light is invisible making me feel like is was doing nothing. I kept on using it anyway for the next 3 days and can say that I managed to get rid of it a lot quicker than usual. By day 7 I had a bit of scaring left that was easily covered by makeup making it completely invisible, I am usually still at the scab stage at this point. We'll see if it can prevent them or what happens next time when used from day one but so far so good. The only other negative is that it stopped beeping when the cycle ends, I looked this up and it says that means the battery is low. Considering how many times I used it I'm suprised that it needs a new battery already but if that's the only down side I can live with that and will be stocking up on batteries to make sure I'm ready for the next attack.Had another cold sore appear on Wednesday morning with no warning signs. I started using Lipzor straight away. It didn't stop it from coming through but it was way smaller than usual. I would usually take a week or more off work and lock myself away. I was able to continue with my life and wasn't as embarrassed as it was barely noticeable and I had only very minor swelling of the lip. I used the patches in between using the Lipzor and it has cleared up in 6 days. This has been the easiest and smallest cold sore I have ever had to deal with. For that alone this device is worth every penny. It's not a complete miracle worker but it's the best thing I have ever tried.

Heavy, battery life doesn’t last. Not effective at all, still get the cold sores and have for years.Wouldn’t recommend this product don’t waste your money

Bought this has a desperate attemp to rid myself of an recent outbreak, having suffered for years my outbreaks have become less frequent since I'm now in my forties but two weeks before a planned trip away to Amsterdam I had a succession of blisters several occurring in different locations over a several days.I was absolutely gutted I looked a mess and knew that it can take up to a month for these to heal entirely and I was concerned there would be further outbreaks.I had a look on the net to find if there might be some resent recommendations to help heal, that's when I discovered the laser light therapy.So did it work ?Well it certainly did!! In under two weeks I did travel to Amsterdam with almost no sign of those dreaded cold sores.I felt results immediatly it took the nasty itching infectious feelling that occurs for the first few days and it defiantly aids the healing.I was sceptical to begin with because there's no actual light or no sensation while using it but it really does work.It's the best £20.00 I've spent in a long run and would recommend it to anyone.I've had the odd itch on my lip since aswell and used it and no outbreak so I keep it close by.I wish I had one of these in my 20s when I was suffering with cold sores on average once every 3 months.If these results are found by everyone this thing could really change lives.

My device just stopped working after 2 years. No misuse involved. At first I thought it was the battery, but after replacing it twice, I am now sure that the problem is the device. The switch light starts blinking, but only lasts about 15 seconds and then it turns off. I tried to contact the seller, but there is no information in the amazon link appearing on the page. I left a message on amazon help line, so I hope they answer my questions regarding warranty and that they help with either fixing whatever is wrong with it or exchange it. Other than that, I loved this product, It does stop the blisters! It works very well if you use it early. Hope to get some good news, otherwise, I am not sure this is a reliable product.
