Q: Will the formula ever be changed to use perhaps organic Stevia in lieu of Sucrolose which is a known thyroid suppressant?

Hi Klaudia, thanks for your question. We've tried to formulate a caffeine mint with organic stevia in the past and the truth is that it is not sweet enough to make the mint taste good. The mint only tastes good with stevia if there is so little caffeine in the mint that it's not enough for most people to feel a difference. We went with 40mg of caffeine per mint because we felt that that's about the minimum amount of caffeine needed for most people to feel a small effect from just one mint. At 40mg caffeine per mint, our experience taught us that a mint made with stevia would taste bad. We have also done quite a bit of research into sucralose ourselves and we've read the tremendous amount of scientific literature on it. Using artificial sweeteners is an individual decision, and you go by how you feel personally. If any sweetener or any other food product causes problems for you, we suggest you avoid consuming it.

Q: How many mints in a 1/2 pound?

Hi Nikole, there are about 250 mints in a 1/2 pound bag. Please remember that this is just a big bag of mints. The 1/2 pound bag doesn't include any tins.

Q: Can these mints be easily cut in half?

Not really. Maybe if you had a pill cuter? They are hard mints.
