Just put the tomatoes in and run your sharp knife through them - really beats cutting them into quarters by hand! Just an FYI - the platform that you put the tomatoes on is slightly higher than the knife slots in case you were wondering. I was! Cut up tomatoes for a salad in a jiffy! I'm sure you could do grapes, olives similar shaped items. I had to buy 2 because we have a cottage and I know I would use it there too!

I love this tool for cutting small tomatoes or grapes because you can choose whether or not you want to cut them in half or into quarters and there’s no tiny moving parts to wash or clean. You really only need a rinse and it’s all set.

I can cut two cups of grapes in just a few minutes. Because I am using my own knife, I will also be able to cut olives and any other food item of similar size. The knife slots go both way making it possible to cut them in quarters without moving or readjusting.

My 19 month-old grandson loves fruit of all kinds, including grapes, berries and even cherry tomatoes. This makes it juts a bit quicker quicker when he wants his fruit and is hanging on to my leg saying peeeease! lol

I love how quick this is to place tomatoes/ grapes/ olives- really anything else that is small in the square and cut with ease. You would think it’s silly to spend money on- - but I’ll tell you what- - I am a great cook and this saves me So much Time in the kitchen- and my fingers also!! I LOVED IT!!

This simple little product ( wish I thought of it) is truly a fantastic time saver and makes slicing grape tomatoes and grapes so easy. My grandson loves grape tomatoes and they can be a real pain to cut in four pieces ( to prevent a choking hazard for young children) . I just place them in here, and literally within seconds they are sliced perfectly with very little mess. It’s worth it!!!

It came with a curvature to the plastic where a knife blade could not fit in the spaces. I tried to open it up a bit and the whole thing just broke in half. Waste of money.

Over the years, I have bought many kitchen gadgets, which, after several months I have thrown out. This is the first kitchen gadget that I have found to be exceptional. I have used it to cut up cherry tomatoes, grapes, pitted olives and Even strawberries. Clean up is a breeze and because of his small size it’s easily stored. I receive this item a couple of days ago. It made cutting grapes so much easier and faster. I have a brush to wash bottles and it worked great to wash this. I definitely recommend this product

Saves time and prevents choking.

I find this easy to clean but I've only ever cleaned it immediately after use. If I was to leave it in the sink it would likely be harder. As for ease of use, the grapes obviously roll around which can make it harder to quarter them properly. That being said, you ate quartering many at once as opposed to your typical grape cutter or a knife. The only thing is once I empty the grapes out I need to go over them and cut some of them more since they didn't get sliced properly the first time.
