I have been building custom wiring harnesses for my 3D printer and needed the connectors that for the female connectors on Nema 17 stepper motors. These worked nicely and are easily depinned if you install the pins backwards. Overall construction of the connector is what you would expect out if any JST connector. Female connectors are properly spaced and fit easily into a 2mm pitch board. The included pins are inherently small and hard to crimp, but overall quality of them are good. Any failed crimps were user error and not the fault of the pin. For any connections that experience any kind of pulling forces, I would recommend a small blot of hot glue to hold the connectors better. Overall, would recommend this product for making harnesses for stepper motors. I would not recommend these for atduino projects as most breadboard and prototype PCBs have a 2.56mm pitch.

Had a pair of batteries with 2.5mm connectors, needed them to be 2.0mm. Some people would turn to soldering, but not me. Don't be intimidated by these small pins. Just be patient, and use the right tool. iCrimp IWS-3220M does the job well. When you're done, you'll have the perfect fitting connector!
