I wanted to have some stylish sconces but I honestly had no idea where to start. These were easy to install, easy to put together and look sleek in my office.

I bought these lights. I am happy with the lights themselves but had a couple issues. I could not figure out how to loosen the wire going into the housing from the top to shorten the lights, so that was a bit frustrating. I'm a pretty handy guy and could not figure out how to open the weird grommet clip they have holding the wire. What I ended up doing is unscrewing the wood from the black base, and then adding in an extra wrap on the post and then putting it back together.The other issue I had was the mounting plate. One was perfect, and the other one had one screw that was too long, and one screw that was too short. I ended up going to the hardware store, which didn't have the exact length, so I bought another "too long" one, and then bought a couple little black nylon washers that I put underneath the little cap that screws on when you put it all together. All in all it worked fine, but it cost me about an extra $4 total for the parts and my time. I needed to get them up though and didn't have time to be waiting for some new ones mailed to me.Anyways, for the price they are good. The posts are real wood. I put some edison bulbs in them. They are much nicer than the ugly old wall lamps I had before. Definitely more modern looking.

Very happy with these lights. Comes with option to hardwire or plug in. I chooses the easy route of plug in and still looks great. Works even better with Alexa control lights!

I love these. Very classy and unique. I use plant light bulbs in them and have each one hanging on the wall where I have a bunch of plants. I live in Maine so we need a little help with plant light in the winter and these are perfect!
