We have only used the GPS tracker a few times.It works well!! I am really pleased with the responses to questions I had. Usually within 12-24 hours and answered all my random questions.

I've never been able to even activate the device to track my dog. Everytime I enter my information and click next the app immediately shuts down. I've contacted the company twice about it and was informed the tech team would contact me ASAP. It has been over a week with no communication from this company. I will be returning this device. Why would I even pay for a subscription for a app that will most likely not even work when I need it. No thank you.

If you’re looking for a tracker with perfect accuracy, keep looking. This will tell you around about where your animal is but you still have to go look around to find them. But I found my cat every time.

My cat enjoys going outside. I definitely approve that this is a great buy for tracking your cat. I get real time alerts and peace of mind.

I got this out of the box, loaded up the qr code and it was up and running within seconds of the first full charge (it only takes 90 minutes to charge fully.) Love it!

I’ve been trying to stop my subscription, but they don’t respond and the product doesn’t work accurately

We have had it not even 24 hours he wore it overnight and its dead! we charged it like it was supposed to be charged and its dead what a waste of 40$

The media could not be loaded.  I have an exotic outdoor roaming cat which I track using YoPets. I like the product since it is easy to use, pricing is affordable and flexible and customer support is great. Battery life is decent...works as promised. So fast and easy to charge !! I use it every day. If he's not by the door when it's time to be in for the night it takes minutes to get him.One thing I would wish is for the tracker to have a beep to it moreso because I sometimes misplace it !!

Purchased this product as it was a Canadian company.My first impression was very easy to setup and use. Not the case. Advertised the product you can setup all on your phone. I did that but then ran into nothing but issues after. Very poor instructions.Do not set it up on your phone first. When you get the tracker go to their web site and purchase your subscription. Then create the account. Then download the app and set up on your phone. User guide information states this no where.Next is to figure out on their web site where the dashboard is to return to….no navigation to it on any page. I eventually found the login after selecting another subscription and finding the login in the checkout. Now that’s convenient.Next I set up a geofence for 10 acres of land. Turned on Alert in app for audible alert. Made sure phone notification were on also. Didn’t work. Contacted the company and they said my geofence was too small.Then they said it was an issue with my wifi and the tracker searching for it. I thought it had a SIM card? The farthest point of my geofence was 1250 feet. No where near my wifi and it still didn’t work.They said the only way to trouble shoot it was to try their Beta version still in development. The instructions were quite complex and basically they wanted remote access to my home network. Yah no people.I set up another Geo fence 1/2 mile from my home so no wifi would be detected (middle of a field and no houses) still no alert.Also when I’m not available to be checking on the dog tracker, and my husband is home and has no idea where he is, you can only have 1 person on the account. Ever. You cannot use another device and add the same username and password either.I am getting a refund for the device, but I paid for 1 month subscription that will not be refunded as per their policy.Try another product, we are.

I've had two YoPets trackers (one for each dog) for 2 months. And in this time, this GPS tracker has saved us from losing our dogs four to five times. We moved to a new property with a very large fenced backyard (approximately 1.5 acres) but the fence was mainly to prevent the other animals from coming in. We do have cayotes in our area. Our dogs are well-trained and typically do not run away. In the new property, our dogs attempted to chase deers, bunnies and all kinds of commonly found animals. If not to chase, our dogs would never try to escape. One of our dog, Bella found an escape route and went missing for 10-15 minutes. Luckily, we found her as I was working near the window and noticed Bella missing for a while so we immediately set out to look for her. After that incident, I bought these trackers. It is not too heavy or prickly so our dogs do not mind wearing them. We have set up a virtual fence around our property so both my husband and I get an alert on our phones whenever our dog breaches the backyard fence. And when they do, we are able to find our dogs quickly as we can see their location on a map on our phone. We even turn on the LIVE tracking which tells us the exact route that our dog took. While, sometimes I do get false notifications of GeoFence exit, it still gives me peace of mind to know that I can check on them easily on the phone app while working on my computer. In fact we also use route playback. It helped us identify the popular backyard areas that Bella and Chompy would be in in order to pursue an escape and chase something. The only thing that could use improvement is the battery life but the phone app displays the battery life so I have made it a routine to charge it everynight and hence, it is not a deal breaker for me. Highly recommend it!

I have found the YoPets GPS tracker to be reliable. I am very grateful for the customer service and tech. support that I have received. It is recommended to charge the device daily. I would also recommend purchasing a few extra silicone cases. Prior to purchasing this YoPets tracker, I tried the Tractive brand GPS and it often did not track walks at all. I was told that it would occasionally not have a signal. This has not been the case with my YoPets GPS - which promotes greater confidence in the device's ability to track our dog if needed. This device is also smaller than its competitor.
