This is REALLY a BETTER way for charging iPhones and iPads, especially when going on vacation.

I bought a bajillion of these cords. Seriously, anyone that cares about the sturdiness of the charging port on their device should retrofit their device with the ability to charge magnetically. (Please note that the magnetic connector that plugs into the charging port on your device needs to be purchased separately.)

I had to recently replace my iPhone which worked perfectly well, but I could not charge it anymore. The charging port wore out and did not work anymore. It was an older phone that could not use a wireless charger either. I was really discouraged that I had to buy a new phone for that reason. I now use these cables along with the matching magnetic connector tips. No more worn out charging ports for me!

It charged 2 of the 4 phones that we have. The other 2 just maintained the power level it had or even drain the power. 1 phone was at 62% power and after 3 hours it was at 37% (not being use). The other phone was at 45% and after 3 hours it was at 47% (was being used to listen to music screen off). I tried switching cords around with phones that did change but go the same results. Gave it 3 stars cause it did change half of our phones and I do like the concept.
