I've waited a really long time - a year - before I wrote a review about this loaf tin. I wanted to find out how easy it would be to use a glass loaf tin, which I mostly use for bread making. Firstly, I have found that it cooks evenly; it's from a trusted brand, I have been using Pyrex for decades and I have never been disappointed; and, lastly, it's better for one's health, ironically, the various plastics are slowly killing us and choking our planet, yet glass that has been used for centuries (went out of fashion for a while) isn't toxic, lasts and can be recycled. I have come full circle, my mum used Pyrex when I was growing up and she handed some down to me and I have continued using and purchasing the brand. What's not to love?!

You can't fault Pyrex, it is always a quality piece of glassware. It is a lovely dish but as another person stated in their review, the textured inner makes it a bit weird to get food out and odd to clean. That said, it is a capacious dish, a nice diameter and always useful. I bought this as an inner dish for my Instant Pot, it fits but only just so takes a bit of patience and engineering to remove it from the stainless liner pot. No problem, I will work past that because it is worth having for the size alone.

Ottimo stampo per plumcake, l'impasto non attacca minimamente, cottura omogenea anche se con qualche minuto in più, oliato prima di versare l'impasto crudo. Facile da lavare in quanto impasto cotto viene via velocemente dalla superficie.
